Comment:

When you ask for help, she will tell you to review your notes and not help you at all. If you do not have the notes, then that's unfortunate and she won't help at all. Gives a lot of homework but none of the material is on tests, tests are way harder than homework and quizzes. No practice exam, no curve, tests more important than everything else.

Comment:

Doesn't seem to be a helpful person at all and not very accommodating. You get more help talking to a stuff animal then you would with her. The amount paid for this class isn't worth it if she's teaching it and here's why. Lectures are non-existent. Everything is on Mymathlab which $95 subscription for the semester, yet you pay $$$$ for what now?

She has checked out. You pay for the class at ASU, but she just makes you take a $90 MathLab course. The syllabus doesn't match the course, videos contract the quizes, and she is NO HELP at all. You use Piazza, where students are supposed to help each other, that way she doesn't have to. But it turned into a mutiny. Class was miserable, misdirected

If you're looking to learn in class, don't. She barely taught anything all year. Her class is basically online. There were a few helpful TA's, but she had attitude if you asked her for help. She was, however, cut and dry about everything which helped to get stuff done.

Took MAT 251 online with this teacher and she is awful! If you signed up for this drop! Tests and HW is hard and don't expect to get half credit for anything! Would never take a class of her's again!

The previous reviews of this professor don't even sound like the same person I am talking about. She was helpful and nice, the only bad thing was she didn't go over much in class since most of the material is online. The class was a breeze for me, so I didn't really need much help. I think the structure of the course is what people don't like.

Terrible math teacher! Does not help you at all! In the lecture class you expect her to actually teach, all she does is sit and do nothing. All of the work, have to teach yourself all of the material. Easy to pass, if you do all of the mastery points and pass the final exam

By far the worst teacher I have had this semester. I expected an in-person lecture but in reality the class is based off of self-teaching from videos that aren't even her. The TAs, who are foreign so it is hard to understand what they are saying, answer all questions. Terrible class, especially if math doesn't come easy to you(like me).

I already took this class in high school, but my major didn't require anything higher so I figured it would be an easy A. It was listed as an in-person course but when I showed up, everything was online. She taught us how to do problems the first two weeks but then stopped and told us we had to depend on the online lectures by a different professor

This course i real fast pacded over the summer... but I did take with two other courses as well. Just be sure to get at least 80 percent of the study plan done and 80 and above on the quizes and you will be fine.. really fast paced though dont slack. other than that a good class.

Took this class as a hybrid and the day where we had to show up in class was pointless. She didn't help us at all, she had her TA's do the work. The practice test didn't have much to do with the actual test. She isn't helpful and she can come off as rude and uninterested.

I did not feel comfortable asking her for help. She was short and often rude and made you feel dumb for asking questions. If you're good at math this class is great it's all online and you can finish early. If you're not or you procrastinate even once you'll struggle because of how little you interact with the teacher/TAs
