The best teacher that I've had at Saint Joe's in my time here so far and probably one of the best teachers I've had period. She's incredibly kind and caring and really wants to see her students succeed. Extremely helpful and does a wonderful job at engaging the class in the topics we cover. If you have the opportunity to take her class, do it.

Take her any chance you get. One of the nicest people I've ever met and the best professor I've ever had. I sometimes go to her office just to hang out. She's amazing. Dr. Marsilio is the best! She knows and LOVES Latin! Very helpful inside and outside of class. Makes Latin fun! There was a Miderm and a final, plus weekly quizes, which she allows to be retaken. Also, 3-5 hand in sentence translations throughout the semester. Participation required. BRINGS FOOD TO CLASS!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Sex and Gender in Antiquity is so worth getting up for at 9 AM... This woman rocks my world and she is the most helpful teacher I've had here... Donuts once every two weeks or so, fun topics in class and her midterm was a breeze. Presentation was a walk in the park too~

The absolute best professor you could ask for. She is intelligent, kind, witty, and easy-going. Her subjects are both challenging and engaging, but every so often you will have a class that is nothing but friendly conversation. One of the rare professors that genuinely cares about your education.
