This was an online class for me. No feedbacks or whatsoever. Projects are not graded in a timely manner. I took this class and got out of it with doubts. I don't know if I learned anything or not.

Comment:

I had Dr. Caldwell online for nutrition, and she was great! There was a lot of reading and quizzes involved but proper planning made this a breeze. There is also a nutrition analysis project in her class. It is not difficult, but is time consuming so please do not wait until the last minute to begin working on it. Highly recommend!

Comment:

I took her online course over the summer. Easy to pass as long as you complete two quizzes by sunday night each week & a nutrition analysis paper. She uses MindTap for quizzes so you'll always know your quiz grades but she doesnt provide any feedback on the paper, its the last day of class and I still don't know my grade. Not very interactive

The quizzes do NOT match the book. Study online resources for help. The nutrition project is a large portion of your grade and takes time to do. Plan for this. Other than that take the quizzes. She allows you unlimited attempts except for mid and final which you get two takes!

I had a high interest in nutrition when I started the course, however, I found it hard to study at my own pace among my busy schedule outside of school, so the due dates each week were troublesome for the amount of content in each chapter. Every answer to the quizzes and tests are on a site called Quizlet. I would have used it had I known sooner.

Dr. Caldwell is an absolute saint. She is very helpful and understanding and I honestly don't think I would have passed without her. I had no interest in the class before but she made it fun and interesting and she is hilarious! I highly recommend her if you want to take nutrition. she makes sure you are well prepared for tests/exams.

Very nice teacher, semi-easy class. Quizzes come straight from notes, and two big projects that are fairly simple. Learned a lot, and definitely recommend her.

Comment:

The content of this class is intense like most science classes but Dr Caldwell is outstanding. The quizzes are a little tricky online but you get unlimited chances and 2 attempts on the midterm and final. The Project takes time but you learn a lot and is pretty easy. Dr Caldwell gives plenty of tools and resources and also gives her home number.

I would rather chew aluminum foil while squirting lemon juice into my eyeballs than to take this class online! I have never taken an online class that was as ridiculous & difficult as this one. BEWARE & stay away!

Do not take this class online! Extremely impossible to pass the chapter quizzes! I had to take each quiz at least 6 times to get a C! The textbook is useless with the quizzes. The only thing that saved my grade was the nutrition project. Dr. Caldwell grades them very easily, and it helped pull up my grade. Just a very difficult class to take online

I love Dr Caldwell! Her class is one that you can go to without having to stress over taking pages of notes or listening to a boring instructor go on and on. She is fun and interesting. She does take roll, so you have to attend class. Notes include everything that will be on the tests and she gives a review for each one. Easy A!!

Shes very nice. Puts notes on the board and you write them and thats whats on the quizzes. Quizzes are MC. She reviews for every test including Mid/Fin. Have to do a big project thats like 40 pages. But computer does most of it. Interesting class, easy to get an A. Plus shes awesome. Would def take again

The online version of this class is rediculous. For example, I took the chapter 10 test online 7 times. The 8th time I took the test, I referenced back to all 7 previous tests. Not a single question from the prior tests was on test 8. There is absolutly no standardization for this online. I very much regret takin this class!

Very nice classy lady who definitely has an interest in what she does. Fun class discussions, not too much studying needed. Glad I took the class with her n person instead of online. You get much more out of it when the class responds to the topic on personal levels and her stories are funny and interesting to hear as well. Fun class.
