Imagine Billy Bob Thorton as a teacher, thats pretty much what you get. He's a good guy and has a couple good jokes. but becareful non MIS majors he speaks in monotone and uses ppt alot and allows the geeks to play video games during lecture which can be very distracting. just try to pay attention and youll do fine.

He has high standards where it matters, and low standards where it doesn't. All tests (including Final) are open book/notes/computer/everything but your neighbor's head. But there are so many questions that you don't have time to look up everything - so you still have to know something. Also, he builds a curve into each test.

Dr. Davis, like most have said, is a great professor. I wish I had him for more classes. His classes are pretty straight forward, just avoid his pet peeves and listen to what he has to say. You'll definetly learn something.

I love Dr. Davis. I wish he taught the majority of the MIS classes at Wright State. Get to know him. He's always willing to help you, even if you're not in his classes anymore. Definitely recommend him. Do study hard for his classes though.

Good teacher. Some of his classes are a bit hard, but he gives good explanations, and knows subject well. 305 is likely the hardest class because of the large reaserch project that his other classes don't have. Just make sure you never try to submit a anything at the last minute. Everything is submitted online and he will not accept anything late.

A ton of material to cover and not an easy class. Davis will give you his time if you make the effort to learn. Not an easy professor, but one of the best learning experiences I've had at WSU!

One of the best Professors at WSU (imo) Tests are tough, but open book, open note, open internet. Always ready to take the time to help as long as you communicate with him, and let him know what is going on. I am taking a couple more classes from him in the upcomign quarters.

Great professor! He's interested in you learning the material. He does require a lot of work, especially the paper, however he outlines very specifically what he wants. Open book open note tests!! I am taking another class from him next quarter. Highly reccommended.

The class was fairly easy, although he said he needed to make it harder for future students. I got a 98%. That doesn't normally happen for me in 400 level classes. He is very reasonable, and helpful. I don't know what that other review was about. EVERYTHING is 'open notes, open book, open everything but your neighbor's mind', his policy.

By far the best teacher in the MIS department. He knows his stuff and is willing to help anyone who doesn't understand. Make sure you go to class or know someone who does so that you can get the bonus questions on the test(which are open book open note)BW'3 is a fun time too.
