Comment:

This class has a lot of assignments and quizzes, but some of your lower grades are dropped. Prof. Abshier is very nice and helps in anyway she can. You are only allowed to miss 3 days unless you have a Dr. note. The final is worth a small percentage, so do well with the other assignments and you'll easily pass. I would definitely take her again.

Great teacher and a family friend of mine. She allows you to get extra credit in her class if youre falling behind, which is very hard to do. Easy homework every week and two major community engagement activities are the main components of your grade.

Prof. Abshier is extremely competent in her subject. Therefore, you will learn a lot from her & be taught in a professional manner. She has a good sense of humor, too. As long as you do the work, you will pass this class. Ask questions, they will be answered thoroughly & completely. Mrs. Abshier provides clear direction for assignments. Recommend!

I finished the entire semester in 3 weeks, since it was easy and now I have more time to focus on my other classes that are more challenging. Even though I blew through it, it did actually help my typing skill and teach me some cool things I didn't know about Microsoft Word. I only met Abshier once but she is very nice. Easiest A ever.

Ms. Abshier is a great professor. She cares about her students and understands if any unexpected situation arises. She is clear and knowledgable, follow the syllabus and you will do a great job. She is real quick to answer emails and is very organized. Will definitely recommend this professor.

Professor Abshier is a great professor. She explains what she expects and the criteria is clear. I am glad I have gotten to take multiple classes with er. There is a lot of coursework and the grade is not given to you so go out and earn it. She is very prompt and professional about returning emails as well.

Professor Abshier is very clear on expectations and how the course works. Everything is very organized and you get clear instructions on what to do on each module. The course is time consuming but the work is very easy. Assignments can be submitted as many times as needed to get 100% and anytime I emailed her I had a response in less than a day.

If you don't have hours to just sit at a computer and type for hours, do yourself a favor and don't take this class. Mrs. Abshier is nice, but don't expect any favors from her because it's not happening. She gives extra credit, thats about all she'll do for you.

She is really helpful and answers all of your e-mails very quickly. Make sure that you read each handout before you being the unit. This saves you so much time if you run into a jam. The handout explains 99% of the instructions, and the textbook does the rest. There is always more than one chance for a 100 on each assignment, so try again!

Very helpful very MOTIVATING some things got a but confusing but she made it very easy to ask any questions responds quickly, doesn't expect much she is also very personable ,she was my first teacher and i loved her!

Comment:

Absolutely one of the best teachers at CF. I have had her for several classes so far, and have gotten 98-100% in each class. The work is time consuming but it fairly easy as long as you read all the directions. And she doesn't have a long waiting period in between e-mails and is very helpful. There is more than one chance to get a 100% on each assignment before submitting and drops one assingment. Very easy to get an A in her classes.

Awesome teacher! She has handouts which I would encourage future students to read. She is serious about deadlines date. Final Exam was easy! She answered my questions within 2 hours. I received an A. If you review the handouts during each section you will do great!
