I took her for an online class and it was GREAT! Open book tests that were kind of hard but not impossible. She gave you a couple of days to take the tests so you could work it around your schedule. I accidentally didn't register for her Micro class and my new teacher is crazy hard! TAKE HER CLASS!

Comment:

Took her for Econ 2301/2302. Her tests can be hard if you do not study, but if you do study, you can get an A or B. In Micro the tests were open book/notes but in Macro she did not allow books or notes. She is very helpful and will answer your questions. Would recommend taking her in an actual classroom and not online mainly because it is easier.

Open book tests. However, you have to understand to make a good scores. A lot assignment. Play stock is mandatory, I love this. Sometime require presentation, I like it because I have to read a lot for prepare so I do not good on the tests. After her class, my econ knowledge is better.

Took her for ECON 2301 & 2302. U need to be familiar with the material & the chapter outlines. She helps out w/extra credit. The students that got out of hand in ECON 2302 online were having issues. I think Ms. Nasrin was trying to let them be adults and handle the situation. I don't think it was her responsibility 2 tell those ladies how 2 act

Took the class online, it was hard. We had three tests and three discussion questions, with extra credit opportunities. She wasn't involved enough in the class. We had some discussions get out of hand and she never stepped in to stop the people involved. I would take the class again; it was worth it, but I sure as heck didn't enjoy it.

Dr. Nazemzadeh is a phenomenal teacher. She keeps things simple, which is good as economics isn't an easy subject for many to grasp right away. However, I feel that her teaching talent is under-appreciated at Lone Star. She really should be teaching at a university.

Took online, 8w course. Not as enjoyable as 2301. Course schedule was off, odd ball due dates and discussion questions. Prof seem burned-out in 2nd half, didn't respond to emails and posts like before. Read chapters, take tests, answer discussion questions. Plenty of extra points, need them- everyone scores low on tests. 8w courses the way to go :)

I took 8wk online course. Sweet, read 2 chapters a week, take test every other week, answer several discussion questions. It wasn't a hard class, you just don't know what to study for. She gives extra points. Felt like I needed more to tie book and tests together. Book was expensive and not very good explaining concepts.

Took online class for Macro. All tests online. Read the chapter, better yet scan it. Make sure that you take the practice quizes she provides online and you will make an A on every test. Do all dis. posts and you will make an A. Not a hard class. Mostly interesting.

She was great. Extremely nice lady and very willing to help her students, not just in the class, but in general... The class was pretty easy and enjoyable for the most part... tests are easy if you take notes and go to class... she gives plenty opportunities to succeed in the class

I took Nasrin for both micro and macro economics via distance learning. It wasn't a hard class it just you don't know what to study for the test. She gives you plenty of opportunities to do good in her class so if you fail its because you refused to try. She's very helpful and gives her home number and cell 2 ppl who need help.
