Professor Ficarotta is a very nice and caring professor, he's always in a good mood and you can tell he really likes what he does. He gives a good amount of assignments that aren't hard and always lets you redo them to get a better grade. Hard to fail this class, but you still gotta put in some work.

HUMEROUS!Always singing in class!We didn't use the book,didn't really have to.He was very knowledgeable.We wrote alot of papers,but that is what the class is about.The best thing about him is if you get lower than an A,he allows you to make his corrections to get an A.Guaranteed an A if paper was handed in Thanksgiving week. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Teaches you good techniques for paper writing, research, and esp. bibliography. a must-take for any eng. maj. There's daily writing, a powerpoint and a 15 pg. term paper, (but you get an A if you hand it in early and make any corrections he wants.) not a hard grader. pretty decent guy. cracks a few dry jokes now and then, too.

Took the class in the summer it was a breeze. assigned a 15 page final then cut it to 10 pages. easy grader, just seems to look assignments over and checks the work cited page. take the class in the summer, it's much easier.

This guy is a joke. He teaches nothing at all and assigns pain in the a*s group work; it's the epitome of a learn-on-your-own course. he grades like a drill sargeant with the most ridiculous criteria and methods. Just stay away from this guy. Boring, useless, etc. You're wasting your time and money.
