The best. A professor who left a lasting impact on me & I took twice. He teaches you the "bigger picture" which is applicable to real life. Don't be intimidated by his aggressive teaching style as he only does it to teach and help you. Talk to him, cool guy, w/ awesome stories. He's one of those professors you'll tell your kids about one day!

Professor Hanly is hands down one of the best professors in the Darla Moore School. He makes his "textbook" out of his own powerpoint slides and it costs $3 at the printing center in Russell. His exams answer themselves as you go through it. He is always calling on people and making class so fun and totally worth the 8am, and lets out early often.

Professor Hanly is an absolute gem. He is so energetic every day of class and it forces you to pay attention and care for the class. His sole purpose for the class is to prepare you for the real world. Be prepared to get comfortable being uncomfortable, he will bust your chops throughout the semester. One of the most impactful professors I had.

Hanly is the best professor at Darla Moore. He teaches so much more than information in a book. I can apply everything I learned from him to every aspect of my life, in and out of the workforce. He has a big and engaging personality that makes class anything but boring. You will not regret taking him.

Hanly is a great guy who really cares about preparing his students for the real world. The only thing I didn't like about him was how during our presentations at the end of the semester he would humiliate some people in front of the entire class - definitely not necessary. Otherwise, nice guy and easy A.

Graded by attendance (which he doesn't take) and 3 exams that are for the most part common sense. Hardly ever lectured for the full time and makes the lecture LOUD and more interesting. Easy A.

Overall an easy A graded by only 2 tests and a final presentation. I liked the class and the way he got everyone to participate, and I think he means well. However, on the last day of class a student presented a powerpoint and he was brutally mean to the student. Will say it changed my view of him, and honestly I expect more from my teachers.

If given the chance, TAKE THIS CLASS. Hanly just started teaching a larger lecture hall, but makes it just as engaging as a normal 30-student class. He is engaging and funny, and finds fun and unique ways of teaching management. There were only 3 exams, all of which were very logical. He also gives extra credit opportunities. TAKE THIS CLASS.

Professor Hanly was one of the best teachers I have ever taken. He is loud and funny and keeps the class interesting. He is nice and always willing to help when you go and talk to him. Attendance is 25% of your grade but he never took attendance so a lot of people did not go. I would definitely go to class since the class discussions are helpful.

Professor Hanly is awesome!! His exams are not hard. Attendance is worth 25% of your grade, but he does not take attendance. His lectures are kind of interesting and he expects the class to participate. All PowerPoints are posted to blackboard. You should definitely take his class if you have the chance.

This man. He's the best professor I have ever had. I would take him for every class if I could. He is so kind and caring to every student, and will go out of his way to talk to you even outside of class. Just a couple papers, a presentation and a mid term quiz for the grade.

Professor Hanly cares a ton about his students and always puts us first (even when he had incredibly difficult things going on at home). He is passionate about the subject & wants to make sure you succeed. There are three tests and those make up your course grade so take them seriously.

Literally best professor I have ever had in Darla. I have my 8:30am with him and I actually do not mind going at all. He is funny and I actually walk out of that class feeling like I have learned something every day. If you have the opportunity to take him please do.

Hanly is the man. He makes class so easy and actually enjoyable. I had class until 5:40 at night, but I didnt mind going that late. He is anything but the traditional professor and you are only graded by a Quiz midterm and a presentation.

GO TO CLASS! Only two exams and they are completely based on lectures. No textbook needed because he has a printed book with all the lecture notes in it that you can buy for $5. Gives extra credit if you didn't do well on an exam and gives you a week to complete. Presentation as final, read a book and just give a review on it basically. Easy A.

Attendance is mandatory but he is very funny in class, assignments are clear and beyond easy. If you go to class and do the work, it is an easy A. He is willing to help if you miss class and to work with students; very understanding and a fair grader. The book is a $5 print out and information is very straight forward. Truly wants students to excel

if you want to take a professor that actually cares about you and doesn't treat you like a robot who is suppose to take notes and just retain info and pass tests, then take Hanly. He is by far one of the best professors in DMSB. There is one "Quiz Midterm" super easy and a final paper thats easy. His class isn't about passing tests. take him.
