Easiest Lab Professor in Clarkson Campus. Highly recommends him. Fall 15' Lab DIDNT EVEN HAVE A FINAL, but HE GAVE EVERYONE 100 for it. 80% Lab REPORT GRADES - HE HARDLY GRADES IT. 10% Mid-Term - WHICH IS ON MEASUREMENT 10% Final - FREE 100 FOR THAT!

I ended up dropping for my own reasons, but class was rough. He's not very passionate about the subject, but is about the students learning. His style of teaching incorporates a lot of mind games. At 31, it's not my tempo. I need someone to give it to me straight; he didn't. If you want to maturely learn physics, you will; and he's not for you.

When are you supposed to study (for any class) if his homework takes up all of your time? He wants you to be in a constant state of gloom about your test grades, 60% of your total grade BTW, so that you are required to put in the extra effort and go to all the study sessions for "extra credit". It's not extra if you need it in order to just pass.

Physics is tough on its own and Professor Duncan makes you realize that, Its easy to get lost in the concepts and he could be condescending at times, but in all he is straight forward in the Lectures and is a great at explaining things.

He is very tough. But his style of teaching is like that of Southern Poly and Ga tech. if you plan on transferring to these schools, he is the man. He is simply the best. I got a B in this course as a transient student from Southern Poly

I dropped this teacher. He was unprofessional, unprepared, and interacted poorly with students. After spending 45 minutes on one problem he said 'forget all this I did it wrong.' While I was there he found a few students to laugh at his jokes. Not funny or good use of time when you are struggling to understand. Lab was easy he didnt care about it

Prof. Duncan is real laid back. His test are easy to screw up by over thinking the problems. Take every opportunity that he gives for extra points. The learning for his class isn't over when the lecture is over. U will need to work hard for a good grade, unless you have had physics before. I would recommend his class to everyone, unless u are LAZY.

He is a great guy, He knows a lot about PHY, his tests are HARD, but he gives lots of extra credits. If you are an engineer major and you wanna transfer to GA TECH I recommend you take all your PHY with him, he makes you ready for there !!

This guy is actually very passionate about Physics and so helpful. Although, he puts an an air that he doesn't care at all. The class is very challenging, but if you go to (and participate in) class and do all of the assigned work, you'll be fine. Great teacher. You'll learn so much in his class. Don't expect ease! He has very high standards.

Good professor. He can be impatient sometimes because he is a smart man who finds things like cross products and binomial approximations to series(infinite sums) trivial. But his class prepares people well for Georgia Tech or a better school.Phys 2 will always be hard,he isn't as hard a tech professors but there are def.easier phys2212 prof at GPC

Man... Physics is alot tougher than I thought. Concerning Duncan, his exam are super difficult and he does not give any quizes or study material to prepare for them. I have to say that he is really knowledgable in Physics but this class just seem to zoom by.
