Comment:

He is extremely easy and easy to get along with. His lectures only last about an hour but it goes by fast because the course work is interesting. Show up to class because if you're not there for so many days in a row he gets upset. He's one of those teachers that if you show up and do your work then you're golden. Just don't talk politics with him.

Amazing, inspirational professor. People like to verbally bash his teaching techniques, but he does not hold your hand for a reason. Work hard and go to every critique. His lectures are absolutely incredible. My photo book collection consists of artists he has shown in class, he knows how to inspire!

Great teacher some can not take his critisim for what it is. He is very blunt and expects improvement. He's a great teacher and give help when asked. HE is very understanding that life happens as long as you get your work done and talk to him if complications happen he is very understanding and really cares that you do well. so easy. he doesn't ask for much at all. lots of slides and lectures, about 6 critiques through the semester for any of his photo classes he teaches. go to all the critiques and have your work and you will pass.

Bruner is a tell it like it is kinda guy, he's realistic and hard. I liked the fact that he helps when you ask, and he understands when you need it, but he pushes you to better yourself.

My absolute favorite teacher in the University. He's hilarious, offers great advice when you ask and can really point you in the right direction. He gives you the freedom to develop your own style, which is so important if you want to succeed in the art world. But if you want your hand held, you won't make it through.

He's a great professor. He gives you assignments that seem pointless in the beginning but in the long run he is just trying to get you to experiment around and see what you are better at photographing. Take his comments on your photos well and you'll do good.

He was gone on Sabbatical and noone even noticed, I hope where ever he was he realized how much better off Shepherd would be without him. He gives no good feed back unless you hunt him down and force him and even still its empty critiques. he needs to get the boot!

Great teacher! He's always there for you, you just have to get off your butt and find him. He may be tough, but it's worth it!!!! He's got a great sense of humor and will only give you the grade you deserve. Def. worth the hard work!!!! TRUST ME!!!!

Good ole ricky cant help but to have this jackyl at least once if you are a photo major, what a waste of a nice new office space, thanks for the tiny studio rick I think If I lay on the floor in the supply room I might get the shot. All my money is going to wste at shepherd including his salary but want an easy grade take him he could careless!!
