Comment:

Spends most of class reading his notes on blackboard while he adds his stories, advice, and experiences. You better pay attention to those lecture notes though! Not scrolling through Facebook while he talks because about halfway in the course there's a test, and it's hard! Try not to worry though,do lots of studying, pay attention you'll be fine!

Comment:

Rick's teaching style was, from what I have been told, a great introduction to university-level lectures. I'm a good reader, so I don't need notes read to me in class. I would have preferred clearer, more organized notes that I had to read ahead of each class in a systematic fashion, followed by a summary and a related in-class assignment.

I personally believe Rick to be a very good teacher. He has helpful links attached to most notes to further enhance the whole learning experience. If people don't understand him, that is because they are too young and too busy with social media to pay attention. He gives respect to those who have earned it. Very helpful and fair.

So I read over this site's guidelines carefully, Mr Monitor & I'm not doing aneething wrong when it comes to my post. Rick was ruff around the edges in the beginning he's still a little ruff but not as much. Smart guy just needs to be a little more patient with those of us that require their own private professor on a regular basis:)

It takes time, but if you put up with the gloating, Rick turns out to be a pretty smart guy. He has a way of teaching through proposing questions that really make you think. He is a great teacher. If you are a good student, he will be more than happy to help you.

Brilliant...absolutely birlliant. What some of you dont realize is that he is unclear with a purpose. He pushes you to think for yourself instead of feeding off a spoon. Thats what it takes in the real world. So shut up and listen to wisdom
