I think he is one of the better English professors at Worthington. He always hands out sample papers of assignments and is always available before or after class for help. Easy A.

Literally the worst teacher I have ever had. Failed me on most of my papers, which I then gave to a couple english teachers I know and all said they deserved at minimum a B+. I honestly felt like I became more incompetent in taking this class. He's a clown and shouldn't be a teacher

I took Mr Sylvester my first semester of college. I was intimidated to say the least. He grades hard but very fairly. He does give you an example essay for each paper that you write, which helps a ton! He is also one of the few teachers that offers extra credit. Overall, the class is challenging, but if you work hard you will be fine.

Although I learned a lot about the technicalities about writing in this class, i do not recommend this teacher. He has hand outs that he gives every class for the upcoming assignment which makes it more difficult to understand. It is almost impossible to receive an A grade in this class. He's rough but I did learn something.

I found the professor to be very helpful and clear on what he wants from your papers. He gives you plenty of time on your research papers, and he gives u a chance to improve your research paper, if you choose to do so. Overall, good class.

This professor was giving me 40's on papers I took the same papers to the writitng center and presented them, the women was amazed at my papers and said i desereved A's on all of them. He's Biased and a horrible teacher, most highschool students would run english circles around this guy, DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS
