Dr. Bob is a really caring and sweet man. He taught me a lot about movies and showed some interesting films in class. His tests can be hard, especially if you don't study for them, so just make sure you look over the PowerPoints that he goes over in class. He gives a lot of life advice!

easily the nicest professor i have ever had. such a happy guy. textbook is not needed. exams are a bit challenging and he gives you one paper. (do not do the night before) would definitely take again, loved the movies and him :)

LOVE this professor! He's kind, always smiling and always cheerful. We watched a lot of movies and talked about them afterwards so it was pretty cool and relaxing. Tests were standard multiple choice, and to this day, I still talk to him outside of class because he's just all-around great to talk to. 5/5 MUST take!

I've taken Trumpbour twice, he's the sweetest man you will ever meet that really cares about his students and gives you fatherly advice a lot. Attendance is graded but all his powerpoints are online. His ppts are packed with a lot of info, so it can be hard to study but as long as you do you should get an A. Easy grader on the 1 paper you write.

The best Comm150 teacher to have in the beginning of you college years! really appreciates the art of film and bestows that to you in class and through the movies he shows. He passes an attendance sheet for you to sign. Extremely friendly and approachable if you ever have a question. I really recommend his class, and did I mention he's a writer?

Dr. Trumpbour is one of the best professors on campus for sure! 2 tests plus a final.. study and you'll get an A.. Also a research project. Loved watching movies in this class! I now see movies in a whole different way! Take him if you can! He is so nice and really cares about the students!

BEST PROFESSOR AT PSU-ALTOONA HANDS DOWN! Dr.Bob is one of the nicest people i've ever met! He is willing to help anyone! For a 100 level class COMM 100 is not an easy! Dr. Bob makes the class very interesting and I learned A LOT! It's a lot of work but If you do the work you will do good! If you have to take COMM 100 take it with Dr.Bob!

One of the nicest humans you will ever meet. Truly will do anything for you, and understands the stress of college. Class isn't too hard. There is some work though, and the tests are a bit tough. Papers force you to think as well. Overall though, I'd take the class again. It isn't anything strenuous, but I wouldn't say it's easy either.
