Comment:

He's a good teacher, and will definitely solve world hunger. However, the best part of his classes is his fashion sense. He wears a new outfit every day and they are super flattering. The final is difficult.

Comment:

Dr. Loucks is the only professor I have had who asks about students and shows he cares. He's brilliant but modest and simplifies abstract concepts. Lectures are entertaining because of his jokes and eccentricities. Tests are tough, but he's a fair grader. You earn what you give. Overall, I respect and admire Dr. Loucks above all other AU profs.

Great professor, really knows what he's talking about. Intense course. However, it's hard to keep up with your notes and think at the same time. Homeworks and tests are hard but fair.

Comment:

Dr. Loucks is one of the best professors I've ever had. The exams are pretty rough, but if you pay attention in class and do all the homework it shouldn't be anything shocking. Lectures are fun and engaging even early in the morning. Prominently, if you pass his class you know you're learning the material for sure.

Dr Loucks is the best prof I have ever had. His tests are challenging but fair.. you also get unlimited time. He is available in office hours and is very good at explaining concepts if you are confused. If you pay attention, you'll end up with a great fundamental thought process to solve engineering & physics problems and you'll also get his jokes.

Dr. Loucks is a phenomenal professor. Attendance is not mandatory but if you do not show up to class you will not pass! He is good at connecting everything he teaches so even if something does not seem relevant it will probably be used later. His tests are difficult but you have as much time as you need to finish them.

HATED THE CLASS! It was Weather Elements and supposed to be an easy course. He treated it like we were all aspiring meteorologists and were great at weather. Quizzes every week with no homework and no textbook. He writes sloppy on the board so you don't even know if what you wrote down is correct. Horrible class and horrible professor!

He is one of the smartest Professors that you will have, He has a lot of office hours, and will always help you through any off the problems. His test are straight forward, and the way he teaches makes sure that you learn the subject (had him for physics) 1,2) when I was making me schedule I made sure I had him!

Always knows how to answer your homework question, no matter if you are in noncalc physics or his senior classes. Very helpful in and out of class. Writes on board really fast, but practice tests are true to actual tests.

Dr. Loucks is an amazing professor and person. I'm not very good with mathematics concepts and any time I begin to struggle, I immediately go to his office. He is incredibly helpful without giving you the answers or making you feel stupid. <3

Brilliant professor. Sometimes he can be a little to smart and too fast for the class, but he usually notices this and will pause for a hilarious quip or joke. Tests and homework can be hard, but only if due attention is not given in class.

By far one of the most helpful teachers i've ever had. I transfered and i'm attending another school and i wish i could have him as a teacher, by far the best physics teacher i've ever had and he will help you. tests are exactly stuff covered so be prepared, gives hw which is easy as long as you pay attention, he will always help you with hw
