Took this class online, pretty easy. Ruth was very responsive and helpful. Willing to add points where there were mistakes. No online set due dates, just suggestions, which is nice so you can work at your own pace.

I took this course online. She gave me a B and i honestly believe i deserved an A. She is rather standoffish, and although i met her on only one occasion, the course itself was not overly interesting. She is a bit of a bore, but as long as you do the required work, you should be fine.

Most of the time in this class was spent listening to her complain about the size of the class (there was 150 students). several pop quizzes that were filled with questions about football. A class did not go by that she did not talk about Chad Pennington, "the pride of the j-school". The tests had nothing to do with what was covered in class.

This class is very easy, but you have to attend. All papers are turned into the tutor across campus and you have to do it on your own time. Just hope you don't have scheduling conflicts with them, it makes it alot harder to get over there. Ruth is awesome.

Ruth will be like your mom. You can tell her your troubles and she will make you feel better. Her classes make sense. You have a lot of open discussion, so it's not just her lecturing all the time. You learn from her and you learn from each other. Take her while you can!

Ruth is nice. She is helpful when you need her, when you don't she let's you do things on your own. Be nice to her and she will be nice to you, usually with a good grade too! Take her if you can.

Prof. Sullivan is the sweetest person. She loves to help her students. But, her teaching skills are a little lacking. The class is dumbed down too. Makes you feel like you are in middle school again.

I didn't learn anything in this class. I got an A but that's about it. I never got a paper back, she never emailed or called me back when I would try to reach her. She never even let us know she had our papers! This class was overly stressful and sucked!

Comment:

One of the best teachers I've ever had. Everyone in class was comfortable and open, which allowed for an incredible learning situation. Tests were straightforward, as were the quizzes. Definitely will be hoping to take her again.
