She is a very nice day and means well but CANNOT teach. She will help you if asked but she doesn't have good explaining skills to relate to students. Be aware she marks VERY hard. If I were you I would jump into another Spanish class. It would be worth the hassle!

I took introductory Spanish with her at UWO. She is an awful teacher. She means well and is sweet enough but she CANT TEACH. Avoid classes with her! Class is a waste of time. I learned nothing. She reads out of textbook. You are better off teaching yourself or getting a tutor. She really shouldn't even be teaching.

Not a great prof for an introductory course. Is not clear and doesn't know how to teach the basics. Zoomed through and didn't seem to understand why most of the class wasn't up to pace. Try taking it with Regina Vera Quinn if possible.

Expects you to know the language within a few weeks, and marks as if you have been writing for years. Very nice lady, funny at time if you understand her humour. For someone who has experience with the romantic languages, I found this class difficult to do well on

She is a nice lady but goes super fast and is a hard marker. Uses the textbook A LOT. She will answer any questions you have and responds to email quite fast. Her class is very boring!!

Avoid this class at all costs!! Awful prof. AWFUL. She just reads right out the textbook. Not the way to teach a language. The class is SO BORED that people don't even respond to her questions, leaving a wierd akward silence. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

with all due respect, very nice lady, but she's HORRIBLE. she barely teachs, and her tests are extremely LONG and hard. first test: 25 mins, 4 pages. midterm: 40 mins, 6 pages. do not take her as your props. she doesn't teach you much information, but expect you to know it all. many things on her test are in forms that you've never seen before.

Absolutely ridiculous prof. Shes sweet and can be funny, but she seems to think that if you give someone car parts they can build a car. She docks marks on tests if you answer the bonus question wrong because she thinks you're being dishonest. She confuses English with Spanish regularly, and forgets to include CRUCIAL information about grammar, etc

Really sweet lady, and funny. She's fairly helpful, especially if you take advantage of her office hours. Class a little disorganized (sometimes not a whole lot gets accomplished). Important to practice, practice, practise with the grammar and sentence structure. Don't think you can cram for this one... you'll be disappointed.

She tries her very best to make sure everyone understands whats going on. I completly agree with more effort in the complete sentences area. She offers extra help all the time and it is very helpful to those who said such bad things.

She isn't as bad as everyone says. She could be a little more clear in how she teaches the language and needs to spend more time on full sentence construction. I felt she was very leniant on marking my tests. I should have done worse than I did.
