Cours difficile a cause des TP. Vous ne les terminerez pas mais la moyenne est correcte (70-75%) grace aux points donnés au rapport. Examens faisaibles car similaires aux années antérieures, assistez a la correction en démo! Slides incompréhensibles sans explications mais le prof donne envie de dormir, bonne chance si le cours nest pas en ligne.

Thinks everyone is a genius. His projects are AMAZINGLY HARD. If you don't read the books for each of the 3-4 languages you need to learn on the side (because he will never tell you to), you will hit a wall when you'll read the first project. His lectures are heavy and really boring. Cannot dumb down concepts and always uses the proper terminology.

5 devoirs pour une matière en accéléré l'été, plus 2 TPs. Dont le premier est juste excessivement difficile, comme si on nous apprenait à écrire un hello world puis on nous demandait juste après de créer un interpréteur pour un langage de programmation. Appris bien plus grace aux démos. Un génie, mais qui nous prend pour des génies aussi.

Super professeur ! Au début, j'avais du mal à me concentrer, puis j'ai découvert que tout ce qu'il dit est vraiment très pertinent. C'est celui qui m'a le plus appris dans ce baccalauréat d'informatique !

Il sait de quoi il parle, mais ses lectures sont très longues et lourdes en théories. Les tp demandes beaucoup trop de travails et sont très difficile à comprendre. Attendre un autre prof pour faire le cours.

Une bonne première partie un professeur qui a beaucoup de connaissance, durant la deuxième partie du cours les notions étaient compliquer et trop vite expliquées , un devoir 2 trop long et qui n'a pas de rapport avec le cours... Des slides peu claire avec pleins d'erreurs ou mal agencée jamais remis a jours et difficile de relecture

Worst teacher this semester. Uses someone else's powerpoints, doesn't read them prior to class, all assignments are given randomly on his website with no warning. When asked, cannot say for sure if there will be one so just keep checking his website. All exos are from book which he never even talks about in class, excessively boring, always late.

Stephan Monnier is very well versed in his subject, and communicates appropriately enough. However, his assignments all derive from compilers, which are not covered in class. They are uselessly long to understand, which makes them quite a loss of time in a normal session. Wait for Prof. Feyley instead.

I see him as a talented person - but not a talented teacher. May be he is new to teaching. I hope he will improve in future. Suggestions: slowdown,suplimentary prob in website, build up the phase of *skill* in students. Not abrupt raise in difficulty
