Comment:

Quickbooks Online class, useful discussion groups, he really encouraged students to help each other with problems, but would step in when needed. Makes it easy to get all homework correct if you put in the time and ask questions. I learned a lot, very helpful in my work.

Comment:

I took him for accounting 1B. If you want to learn and your major is accounting, don't take him. He doesn't teach at all. This professor loves to talk about himself and his own experience, and he gets off topic all the times. Anyway, he is nice guy; however, don't take him if you are majoring in accounting.

He's a really nice teacher. Very soft spoken, but easily gets carried away when it comes to his lectures. You'll probably learn more doing the homework through MAL, than if you went to class and took notes. His tests can be a bit tricky, but he'll allow you to have a small notecard of notes for each test.

Prof. Manske gets offtrack in the middle of lecture but a nice and great guy! Just study what he tells you to and you'll be good. Take him if you want to get a gooood grade!

Prof. Manske is nice and fun, although his tests are challenging and tricky. His lecture materials cover more than what you would ask for but hey, if you're majored in ACCT you'd be really grateful for his experience and wisdom. Worth money and time. A great great greatness teacher if you can teach yourself and want to learn. A must-take.

Great guy, but if your a slacker & your not a self learner don't take him. I earned my B, by doing ALL the hmwk on MAL (myaccountinglab 100pts ), Quizzes (100pts) the project 100pts, 3 midterms & a final. Attendance is NOT manatory, but its good to attend class, so he's aware of your presence & PARTICIPATE. He'll for sure pass you.

mr manske is a great guy. however, i would be lying if i said he is a good teacher. he doesnt teach in everything in order. he kind of just throws everything out there and expects you to know when certain things should be used. if you are good at teaching yourself, i would highly recommend him.

Just like any class, you need to pull your own weight. The students that never went to class never knew anything that was going on. He gave extra credit, tips for tests and study time in class. He teaches the material very well so if you want to learn and get a good grade, I'd take him.

He is a great teacher. He may get off topic sometimes but it's ALWAYS about something that relates to what's going on in the world. He is very helpful and he is straight forward, never confusing. And if you are confused, ask and he'll gladly help you understand. Attendance is not mandatory but it's worth going.

horrible teacher. missed 6 classes this semester barely teaching us anything at all then left for the rest leaving us with a sub more than happy to actually assist us. he taught close to nothing. no organized notes, no handouts, writes ilegibly on the board. if you can learn on your own at home you can pass the class. otherwise, get a new teacher

I like the way he explains things. He's easy with the exams. 3 midterms and 1 final. The only thing I wish is that his helth condition is better because he sometimes can not go to class due to back hurt.

Ok I had Manske last semester. Now I know alot you said he missed ur class alot. But you guys had him at late in the day most likely. I had him at 12:30. He only missed a couple of classes. I found him very helpful and easy to understand. I really enjoyed his class. I think that if you have to take a night class than u should pick another teacher.

Nice guy but does miss alot of class (but so did i). Just do the homework, weekly quizzes that are not graded and multiple choice exams + the project. I do highly recommend reading the text book. In my case, I put in minimal, minimal effort and still passed.

This guy is a pretty crap teacher. He reads premade slides and gives premade tests. He might as well not even be there. There is a big annoying project that is a requirement in the class as well. He has back problems and will miss a lot of classes, however this caused him to give a couple takehome exams. Class ain't too bad if you read the book.

He is pretty useless. Is absent a lot and tends to drift off. No help. Grade based solely on the 3 tests he gives and they are more like word games (guessing what he might be asking and what is the most probable answer) not on real knowledge.
