Took graduate level classes with Dr.Ball. Very knowledgeable when it comes to elementary music ed., however, if you do not conform your lesson plans and presentations to an elementary level his classes can be very frustrating and you will not do well. The only B I received for my graduate degree was in his class and I am always an A student.

I love how in 2006 he was the best, now he's hated... tells you how things don't get bettter with age. His site singing is a joke and he has no usefullness for anyone who wants to teach middle school up...

Dr. Ball is a horrible sightsinging teacher, if you cannot play piano you will not do well in his class. His intro to music ed class is entertaining but a waste of time. He made us come during finals week to take a final that the entire class finished in 15 minutes. He knowledgeable about elemt. ed, but other than that he's no good.

This guy TOTALLY cares about students. I'm now graduated and teaching. I emailed him a question I had, and he wrote a 3-page email back to me explaining everything I needed to know. He is a wealth of knowledge and a huge asset to Westconn and elementary teachers in this state.

This guy is one of the few teachers who truly cares about his students. I have graduated from westconn and been teaching elementary music, and he never hesitates to promptly answer emails or calls with questions i have. Great teacher.
