Great teacher. Great human being. No books. His notes are good but a bit in the light side. You will learn. Do not forget to study for the exams. A student's good memory is a plus with Shannon. Good thinking is also important. I think my time and effort were well worth spent taking his class.

Difficult class and teacher did not make it any easier. He is easy going but in this class he was very confusing. Would have helped if we had group work and not be on our own. Did not learn as much as I would have liked too. You had to memorize everything for the tests which were not easy.

Nice instructor. No book needed. Gives you the class notes printed. Tests are difficult because you have to memorize everything. Exam questions are fill in the blanks and some true and false. He is very lay back but don't take advantage of him. He is very fair.

Shannon is a great professor.I have taken several of his lgl courses and find him to be very straightforward and helpful. Show up for class, study for exams, and participate in discussions. He does not require textbooks for any of his courses except legal research.

One of the best, good dude! He's funny and laid back. He's reasonable and the tests are too.He has experience in the field and knows his stuff. Kinda senile at times, but he makes sure you get what you need to pass. Just take notes. You will live at GMU's law library for the semester. Get prepared. I would take him again and again.
