Professor Wuerfel is absolutely awful when it comes to teaching math. He frequently makes mistakes while teaching new material. The way he graded tests/h.w was ridiculously unfair, very picky. Not to mention, he never told us about online tests, would've def. helped. Advice- find another professor.

This is one of the BEST Math Instructors ever at SVSU. He will expect you to work and complete homework. There are points for attendence. If you have problems in math, this is the prof for you! He Rocks...

I hated Math coming into this class. I never understood how to get answers and just didn't understand math in general. I had such an easy time in this class. I really liked Mr. W. He is a GREAT instructor and I would take him again. If possible, take him, he WILL help you if you're willing to take the time to get help.

Mr. W is a great professor. This man will do just about anything to help his students. He gives his home number for you to call if you have difficulty with problems. If you don't pass this class, it's not because he didn't try! I learned more from him than any math teacher I've ever had.

He just is not the helpful in class. He grades way to hard and marks down on stupid stuff. Outside of class maybe he is better i never felt the need to see him. But in class i could care less for his teaching methods.

Mr. W is an AMAZING math proff, prob the best one at SVSU. He wil bend over backwards to help you. Tests are challenging, but he doesn't make them. He gives homework, and counts it for a grade, which can really help you in the long run. If you have to take this class TAKE HIM!!

He is there for the good of the students. Always willing to help. Sometimes he makes you feel dumb if you dont know the answer. He gave time for HW in class which helped a lot wit questions that came up and also less homework later. All homework was mandatory, that definitely sucked.

What many people don't understand is that this guy is an adjunct prof. He has no control over the tests given or homework assigned. As a prof, I really liked him. He was helpful and very clear. Yet the math department at SVSU SUCKS. They don't put anything on the tests you learned in class, and assign way to much homework. Liked prof, hated class.

This guy is great for 081-082 and classes that don't count as credits but once you get to 103 DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER! He expects waaaay too much out of us and made the class very hard. At one point around 50% of us were failing. He give 4-6 chapters of HW a week and it's very hard to keep up. The tests don't reflect anything he's teaching.

Nice Guy, pretty helpful. Assigns too much HW, and is really picky on tests, quizzes, and HW. Would have A if it werent for that. If you dont like HW and showing work I woulnt recommend.

Probably the best math teacher at SVSU. He's soooo helpful! He allowed my class to use notes on every test. His notes are very clear and easy to follow. If I had any other math classes, I would probably go to Delta for them so he was my instructor. Real nice guy, and willing to help anyone who asks. Definitely recommend him!

He is a teacher in every sense of the word. I had him at Delta College. Algebra was not my strong point all all. He helped me immensely. I would strongly recommend him for any who are "algebra challenged" and for those who just want a good teacher. I hesitate to think what could have been, had I not been lucky enough to have chosen him.

Horrible teacher. He makes so many mistakes, its not funny...Not uncommon to rip out an entire page of notes, because he explains it wrong. He asks us what to do, not as a teaching method, he just doesn't know what he's talking about.
