Quesada is an excellent teacher: very clear and easy to understand. I took the class hybrid and didn't get an "A" because I slacked way too much, but it's very possible to receive one in this math class. She cares about your grade a lot. Her course includes MyMathLab (annoying btw) homework, weekly quizzes, four tests, and an optional final.

She is a wonderful teacher, very caring and always available in helping her students. Super easy to contact and very fast responding. I loved the class and would be willing to take her class again. Sadly there are those who did not take her seriously all in all she knows what she is teaching.

Do not take this class! Got all A's on my homework and did well on my tests, but when it came to the Midterm if you did not pass, you will not pass the class AT ALL!! She does not give you a chance to pass the Final and will advise you to withdraw from the class. Mid Term and Final is 60% of your grade. Her grading scale is just unreasonable.

This is the ABSOLUTE WORSE professor you could ever take. You can do great the whole class on all your assignments but heaven forbid you fail her midterm you might as well withdraw. If you fail that you fail the whole class she does NOT give you a chance to do good on your final and possibly pass, she counts it as 60% of your grade.

Very sweet lady. Very understanding and humble. Not really mandatory to show up unless you are taking the tests, its a need to go. Online work on ALEKS but overall very loving and not intimidating at all. She'll be more than happy to help you. Highly recommend you take her.

AMAZING PROFESSOR! I am horrible in math and passed with an A. Her exams are exactly what she teaches. She is extremely caring and helpful. Take her if you know math isnt your strongest topic. Her homework is online on connect math. 5 exams about 20 questions in person.

Everything done in class was online on ALEKS, which was very helpful and in my opinion way better than ConnectMath. Is either you pass or you fail. The math code is mandatory.

Love her! Very helpful and wants all her students to pass the class. If you don't understand something she is willing to explain it again till you understand. The class was on Alex but she still helps if you don't understand something. Access code for Aleks is mandatory!

She is an amazing person I must admit that. Although the course was 100% online and only went to class to do work online, it was nice. Class is based on midterm and final. It's PASS OR FAIL. The class uses a program called ALEKS which is amazing and helps A LOT. If you need a remedial math or any teacher for math, I'd definitely choose her!

All of the reviews are very similar to the actual tests, some exactly the same but you others you need to know how to solve them with diff numbers. There is a lot of hw u f you take it online, I spent 90 hours on all of the homework. I found this class very time consuming. You also need to study twice as hard as in a class on campus.

All Math classes are hard, but MAC1147 is an advance class so it's even harder! Also, the quizzes are every two weeks instead of every four weeks. But that is MAC1147 and not the Professor's fault. Practice tests are very similar to the real tests (but you must know how to work them with diff numbers). She is very nice and will help you if you ask.

Not helpful, quiz's were not up when supposed to, 5%, was based on essay type questions, really dumb, somebody should tell her its a MATH class! Do not take this online !

I seriously love this teacher. I've always hated math until I came across her. She knows how to explain material, gives amazing shortcuts and examples. She gives you a review that is exactly like the test just different numbers. If you're mad at math, don't even worry about it she will make you good. She responds emails quickly when you meed help.

Comment:

I have never been a bad student in Math and usually finish with a high B or an A. To my surprise, i did terrible in this class. She does not explain the lessons thoroughly and she responded to my emails late. The homework is much more elaborate then her "teachings", so overall, i would either take this class on campus, or with a different teacher.
