An easy A. Just do her assignments online and you will pass. This class wasn't difficult at all an I learned quite a bit. People who struggle in this class are probably just too lazy to do the easy assignments.

Not organized at all. All dates for scheduled tests and homework were wrong as she used the previous semesters information and never bothered to update it. So, we had to continually ask for the correct dates.

She is not clear at all about what she wants. Very confusing and doesn't help much. Nice to some, rude to others. Emailing with her is like a forbidden thing to do, she either doesn't reply or replies with one or two words. Does not stay on topic in class. Would not recommend.

She is very unclear on what she wants. She gives you an attitude if you don't do something exactly her way. She gives you A LOT of essays to do in a short period of time. You might as well take this class online because in class she talks about other things not related to english. She is very boring. I don't recommend her.

She was never clear on what was due. Didn't follow her expectations nor calendar. Mixed essays up all the time. Very confusing discussion board. Very late when responding to emails. I learned more by teaching myself, then what she taught me. Complicated course. I don't recommend her to anyone. Not worth the easy grade.

The assignments were similar to ones I was given in 5th grade which made the class easy. But, her rubric, expectations, communication &info provided to the class in my opinion were all inconsistent & disorganized (which is what made the class difficult). She could also use improvement in her helpfulness & eagerness to help her students succeed.

I had her for eng 2 she is not a very good teacher. she assigned baby work to us, she was never clear with what she wanted when she did say what she wanted she alwayscomplained, and she never responds to emails. so if you want a teacher who is lazy and assigns you elementary work go for her you will get an easy A.

Mrs. Startt is the best English teacher, that I have ever had. She makes learning the material fun; for example, she creates interactive online websites, to aid in the learning process. At the beginning of the semester I loathed to write, but now I love it.

I took her online. It is impossible to get an A. You have to be perfect and blow here out of the water to get an A. You can get a 90 or 91 fairly easy. I had a paper that was great with 1 spelling error, and I got a 90. Her instructions change day to day. She is unclear. She is nice and fair, but if you are looking to get an A, think again.

This was an online class, although I did meet with her once. She was very easy to get ahold of via email & IM. She reponded to every post on Blackboard and was very through in her grading. I really enjoyed taking this class from her.

Mrs. Startt does not explain what she wants very well;she will direct you one way and then a week later tell you it's wrong. We even had to come into an extra class just to get on track with her and people were still lost. I have a good grade but It should be better grade, and she does not take into consideration her own mistakes.

I ended up dropping this class because I spent too much time trying to figure out what was due when, and it was taking time away from classes I felt were more important. Not real clear on when assignments are due, what she expects, etc.
