I've had Buzz for a few classes and he is by far my favorite professor! He is an amazing person and tries to become friends with all of his students! He is very respectful and asks for respect in return. He genuinely cares and will do anything he can to help you if you need it. His classes are interesting and fun and he is super easy going!

I had Buzz for Sports Broadcasting. It was a lot of fun, and Buzz really got us to work our asses off! Set-up and Tear-Down always took time, but the result was always great. He encourages us to try all of the different positions. He recognizes our strong suits, and keeps you there. He figured out that I am great in the truck! Volunteer!

ONLINE CLASS - I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Buzz Hoon is a great professor. He is very responsive to e-mail. Class consisted of 6 papers (1-2 pages, 2 tests (multiple choice and essay) and a final paper (~5 pages). The class is interesting, and it will change the way you view the media, particularly TV.

Online class for me. Prof. Hoon was very helpful and answered all emails promptly. Class was great. Writing essays is a large part, and a word to the wise, Prof Hoon likes in-depth detail in the essays. And, if you write well, he appreciates it and let's you know. Good people.

great online class. Entire syllabus is provided up front with no deadline until last day of class. He quickly responds to email and gives good feedback. Reading is interesting. 4 2-page papers, 2 100 mp question tests and 1 final 3 pg paper. Make a good effort and you'll do great.

Buzz is a very nice guy. Although I know him in person, I took this course over the summer to get rid of my last 'W' course for my gen eds. The class is layed out very simple, it's easy as long as you read the material and the tests aren't bad, although Buzz pays attention to detail a lot, which is a good thing. He's nice too!

Buzz is AWESOME! He is funny and just makes class sooo interesting. He is just an funny guy, but you learn so much and Buzz makes you want to go to the class. You do lots of fun things in that class, and you even get to see Buzz dance!

One of the most interesting classes ever. Expect to write a paper and journal every week. They only have to be a page though for the most part. You get the chance to improve your writing skills in this class. Great teacher, makes class enjoyable.
