Fin 412 online. Much rather take Obi online than in-class. He provides videos and powerpoints for the quizzes. Quizzes are tough. They are long and plentiful.

Obi comes off as a man that is passionate about what he does. However, he is tough. He is often pompous in his lectures or when he asks questions.

Professor Obi is an asset to Purdue Cal. He is very knowledgable, intelligent, while at the same time makes class very fun. He is very active and is always willing to help. Don't take his class if you're going to be lazy, you won't make it and he makes that very clear. Always sit in the front row in his class, you won't regret it!

One of my favorite professors, Dr. Obi is very knowledgable in finance and relates current events to course topics. Dr. Obi has the ability to lead willing students towards understanding finance concepts, the importance of, and how it effects society. His confidence is very inspiring. I reflect upon his teachings often throughout my MBA attainmnet.

Anyone who can't do well in Dr. Obi's class should not be a management major. He knows the material very well, is very clear, and has a passion for teaching that I have rarely seen. He is the best and if you do the work, you will do well. I am in Grad school now and hope that the place I am going has teachers like him!

Anybody who does not like Dr. Obi is simply a lazy student, who wants free points without working for it. In His class, you will learn, study and work hard. If you are a lazy student keep far away from him! He brings out the best in his students, as long as you are ready to push and work hard. Thank God for professors like him.

I have taken Pat Obi for three finance classes and I must say it has been a PLEASURE. He is a very hard professor who pushes students to think. The money you will pay to take his class consider it a treat. The knowledge you will take at the end of semester is worth 10 times what you pay.

If you are a Finance major, take Obi for all of you finance classes and as many as you can. He is an awesome professor and rewards those for trying. He beats the pants off of all IUN finance professors!

I don't really even know where to start with my comments on Dr. Obi. I believe that he knows his stuff well, but I don't really think he understands that some students work and go to school. His class was a lot of work and required extensive reading. He was tough. And at times, he was difficule to understand. He was fair though. do the work...

Knows his stuff! People either love Obi or hate him. Never arrive late or leave early without notifing him first - he frowns upon that. No nonense type of guy! Would recommend if your serious about the class and would not if your looking for a blow off class.

Very smart guy! However, Dr. Obi can be quite cocky sometimes. LOTS of reading, LOTS of homework, pop quizzes. He will also take off points if you don't know basic current events. The last two weeks I spent every waking hour at Purdue working on those presentations (five 20 minute presentations). This class takes up a lot of out of class time.

Dr. Obi is a VERY good professor. He knows his stuff well and is very well prepared. The class is NOT easy. It is challenging and you will learn your stuff. Only take his finance classes if you are a finance major!

Very intelligent... however, he jumps around from topic to topic during his lectures. It's hard to read the book and link it to his lectures. His tests are very difficult and the number of problems he gives is unrealistic for the amount of time that is alloted. I would never take him again.
