Dr King has got to be one of the best professors Ive had in college by far. Hes hilarious and great knowledge of the subject hes teaching. The class comprises of screening films and theres two main exams and 4 film journals throughout the semester, but he gives you a lot of freedom with the material needed for the film journals. Take him!

King is a really great professor and really loves teaching english. This class was definitely a lot less writing than comp 1 and 2 but he gives a couple extra credit essays that help your tests. DO THEM. He basically just glances at them and gives you points. The tests were super easy if you just took notes and memorized them. Super nice guy.

Professor King is absolutely tremendous. He is an amazing professor with an even better outlook on life. Even though I had him for a literature class there wasn't that much reading. His philosophy is that he wants to give you a taste of different types of literature rather than cram a bunch of books down your throat. Take his class.

Dr. King is the easiest lit professor. Only 2 tests midterm and final, both multiple choice. One paper on a Movie, basically graded for completion. I didn't read any of the assigned readings and still got an A in the class!!!

DO NOT SHOW UP TO CLASS IF YOU ARE SICK - He does NOT like germs & insists you stay home if you even have a slight cough. He's just a sweet man who loves movies. His man crush on Marlon Brando is extremely evident but everything he says is purposeful and profound. He's extremely understanding if you're absent or have to turn in assignments late.

Dr. King is a great professor. It's an easy class, primarily because it's enjoying films and gaining your own perspective. He's very kind when it comes to grading and gives extra credit. Film journal that originally consisted of 5 essays but he dropped it to 4, a take home midterm, and extra credit. They were all fun assignments!

Dr. King is a very interesting, nice person, and obviously knows what he's talking about in regards to lit. Don't bother reading stuff outside of class, we read all of it in class. Not as much discussion as lecture, and he's a bit hard of hearing. It was an easy class, but a bit boring.

Dr. King is one of the best professors in the English department. Everything covered is relevant to the course content and he sprinkles in personal stories. He is fair and respectful. There is only a midterm and a final project that consists of two parts. Show up to class and participate and you'll be fine.

I'm currently taking Dr. King for FILM 3200. I have enjoyed this class all semester long, and I have already decided to take him again next semester. The class is structured as a "get what you give" grading system. There is NO reason for anyone to make a C or below in this course. He offers plenty of extra credit. Great professor!

As an English Major, I thought this class was going to be a step back from writing papers. Nope. Toke his summer class and we have "extra credit," which is actually mandatory because there are only two tests. You have to go out and find the films your writing about, so if you're busy with a full load, don't take this class.

Dr. King is awesome for any class, but ESPECIALLY anything to do with American Lit. He's so passionate about American pop culture and it rubs off on his students. Learned a lot more than I thought I would in this course, and it was pretty simple, too. King's the best. Just take him :)

I honestly don't think I learned anything in this class but Dr. King is so great and offers so much extra credit that it's not even funny. Midterm, Final, and 4 film papers that are basically just reflections. Super easy. Try not to skip that often because he will notice. Gives an extra credit assignment almost every class. He is amazing. Take him.

Dr. King is a phenomenal instructor. He cares a lot about the content and does an incredible job lecturing and relating literature to student experiences. I've taken him twice and will take him a third time - his assignments are time consuming, but not difficult. They challenge you to think and you leave the class really feeling like you've learned
