Dave was Awesome.I had him some time ago;98,99,00 in Arch design studios.Yes,he's a bit eccentric but the best creators think differently, and that is what he will teach you to do in an abstract/challenging way. Too bad for COD that he's retired now.With a foundation from him, I've worked on building designs all over the world. Thanks Dave.

This guy seriously needs to know what class he is in because I took architecture intro and all he did was let us watch movies the whole semester which had nothing to do with it. Ya, movies sound like fun but guess what you watch 1927 movies with no words about gods star wars and religion. This guy totally puts your hopes down if u wanna study archt

COD passed a new policy that this class must be taken before any other art classes (despite me being there for years and taking various other art classes). I withdrew from this class. He talks about nonsense the entire class, and really teaches barely anything about the art. If you want a very easy, albeit boring class, take him.

bad teacher. didn't take the class seriously and missed several days. cancelled all projects and gave us a joke final exam that was easier than writing your name on top of the paper. i suggest not taking him.

David was the most relevant and excellent prof I ever had. His methods may have been unorthodox but if you stick with the path he is leading you on the revelations that he will show you will blow you mind! Take his art classes! It's really to bad that cod won't let him teach architectural design like he used to cause those classes where the best!

probably the most disoriented teacher i've ever had through out my whole schooling career. the first half was fine, but after the midterm he stopped showing up and canceled all assignments for the rest of the semester. he takes attendance and makes you watch videos irrelevant to the subject of the class description. don't take this guy!

Incredibly hard/unfair grader. Will grade you lower for leaving class early. Expects everyone in his drawing class to become architects. 3 classes he didn't even show up. Waste of time and money. Messed up my GPA in a DRAWING class.

i thought that this class was going to be a great a way to hone in on my skills. i was so WRONG! i paid this man to teach me and he never wanted to be there, left class hours early, some days were complete no shows. i would NOT recommend him to anyone! i had him for a drawing class and id say easy A but a waste of time and money.

One of the more inspirational professors I have taken. He is very big on identifying if you care about art or not. Nothing bothers him more than if you try to pretend you care more about art than you really do. Believe me he can see it in your work. He is a somewhat distant guy unless you get to know him. If your work is good he will come to you.

An inspiring teacher that has a complete understanding of the Architectural world "no kidding" If he's on his game and you're a slacker you might as well drop whatever class your taking with him because you'll hate it. If you want to learn a lot and hear some great quirky stories then you'll enjoy Leary's class. Bottom line he's a good professor

An easy teacher.. non-art class, I mean it is about art history, not about drawing or painting. He gives you answers for the test. Some group projects, but very easy. If you want the easiest possible A, take this class.

Leary shows lots of slide shows and that can get boring. However, he does not expect much and is pretty easy going. Just show up to class, do what is asked and you will be fine. Attendance is very important and he passes around a sign up sheet so try to get there on time. Overall, easy class.

The worst teacher ever. He only cares about and knows absolutley nothing about art. he failed as being an architect so he had to become a teacher. he needs to get fired cuz he sucks so bad!
