He has a wealth of knowledge and great industry experience. However his extreme sarcasim and unapproachableness makes it hard to learn. I feel like it is not an environment that allows you to learn. Sad cause he knows his stuff.

Chef Flick knows his stuff. He is a bit harsh and certainly not afraid to voice his thoughts. I learned a lot and did enjoy his class. His tests are hard, so study notes. Never used text book. I would recommend him.

This guy was the best! A little bit arrogant and assuming (just like many chefs), and doesn't spoon feed the material. However, if you show interest and ask questions, he will explain EVERYTHING. You are guaranteed to learn in this class, and have fun.

people say that his harsh,he just tells u the truth as it is.he not only teaches cool stuff, he teaches 2 reason 2 solve your own problems without having him 2do it for you, there is no 'is it good enough?' his right, if u r questioning ur own work u have ur answer!.i workd with him in a contest piece,he pushes u 2 ur best if not splat!Thanks chef!

Doug is very nice when he wants to be. His criticisc are very harsh and sometimes hurtful. Not a hands on Chef, he does not like to do demos. He definately knows his stuff, but he is a very of arrogant.

Doug is hot and pretty nice, I think he loves to cook and that is shown through his teaching. I know he has made a girl cry, but it really wasnt entirely his fault. Good personality as well.
