Took the math class for math haters in last semester before grad school (2003) and actually enjoyed some of the information. I learned how ISBN numbers are determined. Thank goodness for calculators and computers. Nice professor, but he is a mathematician..

AWESOME guy. Ideas in Mathematics. I hate math, so I was in his office every other day for about an hour - he never once got tired of helping me, and he would even work through entire homework assignments if I needed it. He is amazing, and he LOVES math. He is extremely smart and a really nice person. Take advantage of his office hours, seriously.

Oxford is a nice man that gets very excited about math. The course is tough, but his test are direct and do-able. Just do the hmwk and keep up. It is a lot of studying though. Sit near the front of the class because he is a quiet talker!!
