Frey is a near perfect professor. His lectures in 181 were very well organized, engaging, thorough, and easy to follow. He is one of those people that just has a gift and makes everything easy to understand. His quizzes and tests aren't easy but he is a very fair grader and really wants you to do well. Funny, caring, and a god in office hours.

Frank is an amazing professor. The material of biostats is tough, but he makes it easy and will walk you through it step by step if thats what it takes. Tests and homework are hard, but they are almost always take-home. He is always open for office hours and gives great extra help on homework assignments to help you do well. I highly recommend!

Awesome professor, hated bio before I took his class and now I really don't hate bio at all. His classes are super engaging and the readings are interesting. You can tell that he genuinely is passionate about his subject and every individual student. Just fantastic.

Best Professor & mentor that I have ever had. Although he is very busy, he ALWAYS has time for his students. Freshman year, I was a mediocre student. F. Frey didn't judge & instead patiently helped me gain the skills I needed to succeed in the Bio major. Thanks to his support, I am currently studying at the Ivy grad school of my dreams!

great great teacher and advisor. definitely takes an interest in you and doesn't expect too much. you don't have to do the minimal readings he gives to do well and you don't need to take more notes than the power point slides he gives out. greatly simplifies things in lectures so you can easily understand it all. only tests are take home tests.take

Frey is about the best FSEM professor and advisor anyone could ask for...Our sex drugs and chocolate FSEM was great and he has really helped me in getting all of my core requirements for graduation taken care of..take him for anything, and GET IN HIS FSEM if he is teaching one....you wont be sorry

Frank Frey (pronounced "fry") is amazing. I'm not at all a fan of botany, but Frank makes the class "Sex, Drugs, & Chocolate" endlessly interesting! I would take another botany course JUST to have Frank. He's also quite funny and his presentations are clever and really entertaining! Don't pass up the chance to have one of his classes!

AMAZINGG!!! i'll admit i do love bio but he made it even better...very clear, great examples. so animated and makes class interesting with funny/quirky stuff. VERY easy grader and tells you what questions are on the test...cant wait to take more with him!

Who likes sex, drugs, and chocolate??? I do! And so does Prof. Frey... his lectures somehow make plants exciting and he's extremely enthusiastic. Also check out his band... Danger Boy.. they play at the jug and are a must see. If you get the chance, take a class with him!

Professor Frey made learning about plants fun & interesting. In addition, although the class had over 100 students, Prof Frey made an effort to get to know every student. He is very clear, approachable, fair, & helpful. I can't wait to take bio 211 with him next semester. Def take a class with him.
