Comment:
If writing is your strong suit, you'll have no problem - Dr. Hayes doesn't believe in tests. In his classes, there is typically one group project and a couple essays. I have to warn you though, his lectures are very boring and more of class exercises. Attendance is 10% of your grade so you have to show up. DON'T BUY THE TEXTBOOKS!

Love his style of lectures as they are less powerpoint style and more interactive. Information sticks better through discussions and activities. Personable, knowledgable and funny. Would recommend and one of my favourite political science profs.

His lectures weren't even lectures, they were just getting his students to do exercises. He was all other the place and didn't seem to have a plan of where the class was headed.

Comment:
There were not many assignments, and they were fairly short, but they were very vague, and you never really knew what he was looking for. When asked for clarification, the answer was equally vague. There were two required textbooks - one was ok, the other was terrible. The online Skype classes were interesting.
