This class follows discrete structures. The class is all about state machines, regular expressions, and proofs. It's boring and tedious, but nothing is truly challenging. Just go through the motions to get an answer in most cases.

Baliga is quite literally the man. He's very passionate about what he does, and tries very hard to bring students to that same level of enthusiasm. Always willing to help and clarify topics. Loves students that try, and gets loves to see students "get" the topics after struggling. Might just be the best professor in the CS department

Is a spectacular teacher, very easy in my opinion, and very helpful and friendly. His quizzes are worth the most, and are really quite easy. Sometimes he even helps you during the quiz.

Baliga is one of those professors where his projects make you want to kill yourself but in the end it was absolutely worth it. I learned more from him than I did in any other class at Rowan. He's really nice, very respectful, and always available for extra help. Every CS major should take him at least once.

Excellent teacher, I'm terrible at comp sci and I still learned a lot. Better than most Rowan comp sci teachers so I hear. Definitely take him, if you know your comp sci, A w/o going to class, but if you are struggling he will help you a lot

Very hard... Gives projects on top of projects weekly, project requirements are amended and hardened as the deadline approaches.. grading takes place on your own time. Very wise man that knows his subject, will spend a great deal of time helping you, this class will take all your free time away.
