Jeanine is a nice lady. But when it comes to teaching, I can not say she is that good. Cuz she is not clear and the exams she assigned were not well instructed and explained as well. getting my feedbacks on my exam, I still could not get what she wanted. If you want to understand what I mean, take a class from Dr. Trademan and see what is clarity

Comment:

Loved her teaching style, and enjoyed class involvement. Homework and papers were relevant and I learned from those as much as in class. She has great stories and an obvious passion for her subject matter, allows students to voice their experiences and opinions and was always well prepared (to fulfill a 3 1/2 hour class at that!). Recommended!

Interesting subject, but erratic teaching style. Not very prepared. Wants class discussion but not yet adept at fostering it. Easy tests. Kind of hard to understand (she's from Burundi) but she does a good job of incorporating her version of English into the teaching process as we learned about words.

I think the problem is with Lexicology. The subject matter is difficult, expecially for anyone with no previous Linguistics knowledge. Jeanine is great, the course is not. If you need a linguistics credit, take 120 instead.

she is not hard to understand. c'mon really, get out from under your rock, her accent is not that thick, and she knows the languauge well. not to mention her foreign-ness provides a refreshing perspective. its an easy class, but it is what you make it.

I had her on my first semmester and I will graduate this semmester. If I had to choose to take her again I wouldn't. She's hard to understand and an unfair grader. I got all A's in my assigments and tests and gave me a C. I'm still appealing the grade.

I really don't think she is hard to understand. She has a French accent which I find charming.The class wasn't hard and she is really helpful. I guess some people would be happier with a mean,picky teacher with Ted Coppel diction.She's great!
