Comment:

Prof Koster is AWESOME. She is a holistic grader and doesn't spend a lot of time on grammar and "tedious" parts of composition though she does expect you to do it properly. She has a very clearly written grading rubric and provides excellent feedback. She offers workshops through the writing center and is very straightforward in her expectations.

Contrary to what everyone else thought of Mrs. Koster, I really enjoyed her class. I agree that she can seem tough sometimes, but afterall IT IS college! If you do the work, and try in her class you'll get more out of it than you might think.

I had Ms. K in Eng101 and got an A in it. She is a good teacher. You will either love or hate her. The class is just hard in general. It's very stressful and I'm just hoping I will pass it this time. I don't know what to say... I just recommend taking the class by itself over the summer.

Don't take this crazy preggo lady...The lady is a very snotty person...seems to only care about herself....she rejects everything you turn into her. I dont know what crawled inside here a** but somebody needs to get it out...fast! but in all seriousness avoid this lady at all cost.

Not helpful with essays or anything; she makes u find the answer to ur question always. Can be rude and unfair. Assigns a great deal of work. Knit picky about attendance: 3 tardies= abs 3 absen.= no A. 4 absen= no possible B. 40% grade is classwork and 50% porfolio, 10% interp. essay. Aviod teacher

She was very very rude to me for no reason. She assigns way too much homework as if her class is the only class that there is. She formed opinions of people on the first day and was very biased. And the homework was not closely related to topics of study.

Avoid teacher at all costs. She's not that bad it's just ur more likely to get a better grade in another class than hers and why do u have to bother with her trouble. Its definetly possible to get an A or a B its just not worth the trouble. She's very nit picky about assignments and gives u so many.

I had her class last semester. I got an A.. as long as I was nice to her and actually went to class, but was so rude to some of the students. You could tell she was a little insecure sometimes by the defensive nature she had when she was asked a question.
