Professor Moreno is a great teacher, but an even better man. Take his course and work hard in it, and it will pay off. He values hard work. His exams are easy if you put time into the homework. There are no surprises with Moreno. He does not give pop quizzes or take off points just to make you suffer. He is probably the best professor at JCU.

It took me half the semester to figure out his class but I absolutely loved it once I did. I hate Math and always will but he was a great professor. His class is not easy. It was easily the hardest class I ever took. But if you show up, try and do the work he will meet you halfway and not let you fail.

Comment:
The weekly problem sets are extremely tedious. You can work with a group of 3-4, or alone. Even working with a group it's extremely tedious and seems like busy work. Instead of simply just doing each problem you have to copy it directly like what he has on his example write up on canvas. Its a lot of copying and pasting what he has and is a waste.

I love Moreno! I personally did not struggle in this class, but I know that a lot of people do. He provides so many resources for help (transcripts, write-ups, practice tests), so take advantage of them! Also do not be afraid to go to his office hours. He is always willing to help and is such a nice guy! Get a cheap version of the book.

Moreno is very knowledgeable. He understands stats very well. Homework consists of problem sets that can be worked on in groups. Problem sets tend to take a few hours depending on your level of understanding of the lesson. The files are available on canvas. Tests are tough but very manageable. Show up to class and you should not have any issues.

he doesn't take attendance but if you don't show up you will fail homework and tests. wants everyone to pass so lets you re-do homework and at the end of the semester drops the 4 lowest grades. very nice but also very intelligent so you need to pay attention. hard tests but doable if you study

Moreno is an awesome professor. He really cares about his students. I recommend going to his office hours at least once a week even if you do not have any glaring questions. By going and talking to him not only will you get to hear JCU history, but he will also grade you easier on tests and homework. He wants you to pass.

Great teacher! Hard class, but don't be afraid to go ask him for help! And get a group together to do homework together, it takes the pressure off. Study hard for the tests and go to class every day.

I don't know why he has a bad rating on here! I love professor Moreno! He's there to help you. If you're struggling and he's aware, he won't fail you if you address your concerns with him. He is a very sweet old guy! Make sure to do the homework assignments or you won't pass the exam.

Dr. Moreno is a nice guy and he means well. This class was probably the hardest class I've ever taken and wouldn't have passed if it wasn't for him. He's very flexible with deadlines and understanding about assignments. Go to his office hours, you almost need to. Prepare yourself for a long semester.

Dr. Moreno was one of the best professors I've had while being at John Carroll. The class itself was very difficult but if you show up and do the work you will do fine. He is the sweetest and cutest old man and will help you as much as possible!

The last week we could withdraw I went to him and basically said I can't afford to fail this class and asked if I had a chance at passing. He told me keep doing the work and he won't fail me. I ended up passing. Great guy.

Jerry is the absolute best. I suck at math and he saved me. The class is hard, but it was stats so I expected it to be. He was always in his office super willing to help. he loved when we stopped by for help. You get to correct the homework and return it in and tests are basically open note. He's the cutest old man. take him!

He is a very good teacher, is a nice person and is willing to help. He can relate the subject to everyday life and make it interesting. He also wants students to learn and he is usually in his office for most of the afternoon. He does give a lot of homework that can take up a lot of time, but his tests are not that hard (in my opinion).

Moreno was extremely helpful. although the class was challenging and required a lot of time and effort, Moreno made it doable. He wants you to do good. He drops your three lowest homework and yur lowest exam. You can bring in notes to the tests. He encourages you to see him out of class and is very flexible.

This class is hard. I wouldn't be able to do it without having Moreno. He makes class bearable. Take a lot of notes, make sure you see him at his office hours even when you don't think you need to. He will see you're trying and appreciate it. Exams are rough, but you might get a retest. He is a sweet man and really wants you to learn the material!

Come to class with a review of basic Statistics. Pay attention, take good notes, and understand the homework(Graded, but not factored in final grade). 3 Exams and 1 Cummlative Final. He'll meet you half way if you show effort. Hard class, but it'll make Psyc 301 that much easier. Tough class, nice guy, possible to Ace class if you work hard.
