Professor Forbes was rude from the first day and does not have a good grasp on how to do her job. If you write her an email asking a question you'll get a demeaning response that makes you feel like a moron. For a writing professor, she has the handwriting of a first grader and her instructions are never clear.

Professor Forbes was really an amazing professor. I enjoyed having her. Her class includes a-lot of homework and assignments but if you work hard and are respectful you will be fine. If you are on her bad side she will make it hard for you to pass but show up to class and do hw. Alot of reading hw assigned, always read them cause of pop quizzes.

I dreaded this class. She has us read 8 books and each book requires a paper and also the midterm and final are essays. You can't read her handwriting and she requires a second draft so it is impossible to fix. She also refuses to give out A's. I heavily revised a paper and still received the same grade (B+). Her class isn't worth the stress

Prof Forbes is a really nice woman even though half the time I never really know what's going on. always read the homework before had there tends to be a lot of pop quizzes. She also lets you correct your paper if you do not get a high grade, overall recommend.

Professor Forbes is a great teacher! She assigns an essay a week but will give you multiple opportunities to redo the assignment. She gives 10 question T&F pop quizzes based on the reading so make sure you read! Overall she is one of the best professors I have & is approachable if you need help and she checks her email! would take this class again!

Honestly one of my favorite professors so far. You have to read because after every reading you will have a true or false quiz. There are multiple essays, but they were always short and she allows you to rewrite them to get a better grade. Would definitely take another one of her classes.

Honestly hated her at first, but she tends to grow on you. By the end of the semester she honestly ended up being my favorite class. She's fairly easy, gives a few papers but all very short (2-4 pages) and a couple of reading assignments that aren't hard at all. She doesn't grade that hard and her final was only a 2-3 page paper. My favorite class.

Most unprofessional professor I have ever seen. Is not specific on when things are due, the syllabus was off throughout the semester. Random true or false quizzes on readings no one ever knows about. Is not clear on essay instructions, so most of the time you'd end up with incompletes on your essays. She can't use correct grammar or spelling. Avoid

She's pretty meh. Meh being a good and bad thing. She isn't super hard or super easy, she can be mean and nice. Just a meh professor, lots of papers but if your a good writer it's an easy A.

she gives you so many writing assignments at one point we had three papers duein the same week. all of her papers are at least 5 full pages long. if you want a good grade do not take her. if you miss class to many times she will automatically fail you even of you should get a good grade in the class.

Forbes is a great professor because she doesn't give lengthy assignments (excluding the research paper) and is pretty easy. She is technologically challenged, but isn't too tough of grader and genuinely wants you to well. She lets you redo essays if you get under an A-. I really liked her and would take her again for another course.

Forbes is pretty easy for the most part. Hw usually consists of reading every week. Sometimes gives pop quizzes on the readings. In class assignments r easy,usually work as a class. You must read what she tells you, she gives quizzes that are very specific and sparknotes does not cover it. Overall, essays weren't that hard, you can redo them. She's very vague on what she wants in them, so chances are you will have to redo a lot of papers because you didn't give her what she wanted.

A little unclear with requirements on essays, but she'll clarify if you ask. Mostly easy essays/tests. Not a hard grader except for the select people who got "I" grades on many of their papers for no reason. Experiential stuff is pretty easy. Class often got out early, and we got to watch some good movies. I wouldn't recommend her, but she's okay.
