he does not know how to grade a paper. If you are going to take a class from him, be prepared to listen his point of view all the time. He does not try to understand either what you are writing or talking about. His class was the first class that I hated going. Especially, if you are an international student, your chance is lower.

I think he's an awesome teacher! He clearly explains what he's looking for, is very helpful and is always willing to listen. He's pretty funny which makes class enjoyable. He doesn't give out quizzes unless he thinks people aren't reading. I took him for comp 1 & 2 and didn't take a single quiz. He's not even that though of a grader.

I think he was a great teacher, we all have had hard teachers and he may be a tough grader but he is still very helpful, listens and clearly explains what he wants to see. Don't hate on him because he gave you a bad grade on the paper that you did last minute. Plus he is hilarious if you get his dry sense of humor.

It disturbs me to see so many negative comments about this professor. Yes, he is difficult, but unless you're completely illiterate or have no motivation to do the work, his classes are quite manageable. I have had him for two classes. Both classes were very challenging, but I feel that my writing is much better as a result of taking his classes

He is a very nice guy but very liberal and will talk about his views very much. I disagree with him on nearly every political issue and it showed on my graded papers. A on the first to C's on last 3. Writing quality was the same. He is a very unfair grader and his instructions for the paper aren't clear. Take only if you must. Partial towards men.

Impossible. His grading scale is based on his own opinions and political views which is absurd, especially in a class with the sole purpose of argumentative writing. Required presentations on current issues in the world seemed pointless for a writing class. His smug personality did not make the class a comfortable learning atmosphere.

I took him for Hum-The Human Prospect and the whole class is about giving your opinion. He will argue with everything you have to say. He always seemed to be in a bad mood. The first day he made everyone in the class get up and say everyone's name until everyone has it memorized.He will grade your papers based on his opinion! Do not take!

I would inform any student to stay away from his Comp 2 class or any class. As a teacher his instructions are not clear and he does not keep enough office hours to help students with questions. I just came out of his Fall class and earned a C he grades low stay away students warning red flag please listen to me

I found Dr. Anderson hard to understand. I think his class management needs improving. His writing assignments are hard to understand. I also find it hard to make office hours with him. Overall stay away students go with Dr. Neeley or Dr. Myers they are patient and willing to listen and help you understand the assignment better.

I made an A in this class, its not bad as long as you have him proofread all papers, and do the homework. He expects a lot of you but he can give so me real good advice too. reminds me of Ben Stiller,as far as personality and sense of humor.

The only thing that is good about this class is that the prof is hot. I am still trying to find a way around the whole student dating a prof rule.
