Honestly the worst teacher I have ever had. He takes 15 minutes to set up class because he can't find his powerpoint. He doesn't know anything about graphic design, all his power points are from 2007. He's too old to remember where he places things, sometimes even tests, papers, or quizzes, and then blames you for it saying you never turned it in.

He's very helpful, but you have to ask for his help in order to get it. Do not be afraid to raise your hand and ask questions. Being familiar with a Mac definitely helps since that is all you will be working with throughout the semester. Do not wait until the last minute to start a project, they take longer than you think they will!

I like to think he knows what he is talking about. I liked his class overall because it was Computers In Arts = easy. If I hadn't missed 3 1/2 days of class I would have made an A = attendance is crucial. If you have an legit excuse, then you're fine. He tells you what he wants & that's that. His personality is dry but he is willing to help you.

I had Swartwood for 2D and for computers & art. I really really enjoyed 2D and learned a lot of different stuff in this class. If you show up and show interest - you will get an A! He's really nice and he's interesting. Definitely worth taking his classes!

Your all nuts! I had this jerk last semester and it's why I'm out of this university and going to study Art in Ft Smith! He's a pompus ass and one of the laziest teachers I've ever had. I came here to learn but he doesn't teach. Also badmouths other teachers in front of the class. Not a cool move dude!

yeah, larry is a cool laid back teacher. you'll learn alot as long as you ask alot of questions. he is friendly and his class is fun. he allows alot of artistic freedom. this may not be the class for you if you are looking for a disciplined atmosphere.
