Peck is not accessible outside class really, I emailed him a few times and got no reply. However, he was helpful in getting students their grades, and his grading favors the students. Dry professor at times, but a good guy overall, take him if you want to have a later FAB class (you get to eat what you cook lol)! Good professor!

Chef Peck is qualified, but extremely boring. His pointless lectures are mediocre at best, and he is not accessible nor does he care about his students outside of class. A pandemic caused the class to move online, and Peck "forgot" about the final, a project, and more. Never replied to email. Try to take another professor! A fun class though.

I love Chef Peck. Easily one of my favorite professors from the semester. Cooking was fun and fairly easy all year, just do the homework and show up and be ready to cook and this should be an easy A. Has 2 tests and a excel project throughout the semester but its fairly easy.

His lectures are long, detailed, and very boring. I along with may other students had trouble staying engaged in the lecture. However he is a nice guy who is fair and I learned a lot in his class. He's not paid to be an entertainer but a little more energy would help. I recommend his class just be ready to read and sit through long lectures.

There are only 4 classes for the entire credit. The professor assigns 4 to 5 chapters of reading a week and then you will have a 15 question quiz on those chapters in the next class. The professor lectures on all the chapters before the quiz though. There is a project due but it takes about an hour to complete. 3 quizes, 1 project, 1 final.

He is an awesome professor! Really cares about his students if you care about his class. Each class is worth 25 points so as long as you show up do your homework you'll pass. He has two exams and a practical exam. Super fun class with him not too hard of a grader.

Chef Peck is a great professor! I took his summer course and it was five weeks long, 4 hours long, 3 days a week. He is extremely lax and makes the course easy and manageable. Easy homework and fun recipes while in the kitchen. Take him for Fab 159!

This is a hands on cooking course and Chef Peck is really easy. The recipes are fun and tasty and there were only 2 exams. There is online homework and quizzes, but really easy if you have the book or internet access *wink wink*. Recommend him to anyone looking for an easy 4 hour course that's hands on and not boring.

Pick Chef Peck over any other teacher! Assigns groups which can suck, but you are still graded individually rather than as a group. The homework is easy and so are his tests. Only one project and it is just recipe costs (which he gives you the pricing in Excel). He doesn't assign lots of work like the other professors. Highly recommend Chef Peck!

Peck is awesome!!! He comes from a huge F&B background so he is an expert in the kitchen. He is always willing to help you until everything is perfect, but still makes you do a lot of the work on your own. Peck is very laid back and hardly ever yells. I learned so much from him this semester. Doesn't feel like a professor, but like a cool boss.

Chef Peck is a super friendly guy. He reads off his power points in which he will supply you online. I'd suggest buying the textbook if you want to be sure you understand the material. Easy, but boring class.

Chef Peck knows what students need to learn in order to pass the national exam. To save money I recommend only buying the test sheet for the final and not the book. All the information that is needed to pass the class is in Chef Peck's powerpoints that he goes over in every class. Did not respond to an e-mail I sent. Talk to him in class.
