Dr. Williams is an extremely wonderful professor. She is super sweet, and she is always willing to help her students. Also, her lectures are always very interesting. Dr. Williams' classes do require a lot of writing, reading, and class discussion, which helps to better a students understand of the course. Dr. Williams is awesome!

Dr. Williams is an extremely intelligent woman. I am not a politics major, so most of what she taught was over my head, but still understandable. Attendance is graded. Midterm/final are a breeze, but make sure to ace that paper.

Comment:

Be prepared to read, write, and take lecture notes and you do well. Encourages contributions and discussion in class. Dr. Williams is very kind and passionate about subject matter and teaching. She really cares about students and helping them succeed. She is willing to work with you if you have problems. Highly recommended.

Comment:

One of the best teachers at uwf by far and an even better person. Very entertaining and really knows her stuff. Her book is a good read. Classes aren't too demanding at the lower level and work load is low but actually useful.

Comment:

Dr. Williams is a wonderful teacher, and she clearly enjoys what she is lecturing. There's a big research paper at the end of class, but she pretty much walks you through it all semester. Reading the material is helpful but she always goes over everything in class. The university is lucky to have such and intelligent teacher.

Comment:

Dr. Williams is an awesome professor. She's very sweet and helpful and has a lot of knowledge of the subject matter. Lectures are interesting and she encourages discussion. Tests are only difficult of you don't study. The Comparative Politics class can sometimes be a drag because it's mostly freshmen/sophomores, but that's not her fault :P

Dr. Williams is the best teacher I have EVER had. Not exaggerating. Dr. Williams asks the "right" questions and encourages her students to think independently. Most of the government professors at UWF are good, but Dr. Williams and Dr. Alvis (when he was here) are first class. Taking her class has affected what I plan to do when I graduate.

Great class Great prof if you are at all interested in political science take this. very informative lectures. work consists of 10 online assignments which are easy if you try to to them 1 research paper which is an easy grade and the final and midterm. overall i would recomened this teacher

Comment:

She's so brilliant it's disgusting. But she's so unpunctual. Her papers rock. They were seriously a breath of fresh air in an otherwise stagnant writing environment this semester. However, this class is no gimmie. One day, she became so enthusiastic about the subject topic that she bunny hopped across the front of the classroom.

Unless you are really interested in Democracies of the World, I would strongly hesitate in recommending this class to you if you are not an International Studies/Political Science major or not up for a challenge. That said, I think Dr. Williams is a wonderful person, very knowledgeable, truly interested in the subject matter she teaches, straightforward about her expectations, and fair.

Dr. Williams was professional, intelligent, interesting, sensitive, and has a sense of humor. The only downside is that she is a little too gung-ho with the eLearning busy work required for her course. However, she is very understanding to balance that out.

Dr. Williams was a very good teacher. Her lectures were interesting, and her tests weren't too bad if you like essays. She has a lot of assignments on elearning, and she asks a lot of you online. She makes you do a huge project also. All in all, she's a good teacher and I would recommend her.
