Comment:

Dr. Corbin is hands down one of the best science professors at Ashland. His lecture are not boring and if you have a question he is more than willing to help. I needed help on an assignment and we sat in his office for 45 minutes going over every question. His class is challenging, but he goes the extra mile to make sure everyone can succeed.

Great Professor! You have to work hard in his class, but he is more than willing to help. Compared to the other professors, I think his class is easiest; however, it is still challenging. All homework is online and you can sit in his office while and do it all with him. He will help you with EVERYTHING

Dr. Corbin is one of the best professors I've ever had, and the best Chem professor at Ashland. I had difficulties with OChem but was able to receive an A in both lab and lecture with him. If you're taking OChem, take it with him. I promise the 9am lectures are worth it.

Dr. Corbin really wants to see his students succeed. He wants to make chemistry interesting and understandable for the whole class. He has review sessions where you can get help on the homework, which is super helpful! Tests can be tough, but if you ask for help, he's there!

I have taken both lectures and labs with Dr. Corbin. His goal is to teach and help each student understand all of the material required. Come to class with questions or visit his office with questions or email hime your questions as he is always willing to answer them. If offered to go in on test day early, do so.

Corbin is extremely nice and understanding. He will extend things if you really need the help, which saved me one time. He is ALWAYS willing to help and wants to help you understand the information. I liked the course because the class went by fast and we didn't have exams, we had three papers instead.

Had him as a lab prof for the first semester of o-chem & lecture for the second semester. One of the nicest professors I've ever had. Had study sessions in the evening before every exam, which helped a lot because o-chem can be a tough subject to master.

Dr. Corbin is possibly the best professor I have had. Organic Chemistry is hard in itself, but he was such a big help that I actually understood lab. I got a C in lecture and an A in lab. He is so down to earth, he is a sweetheart, and would help you no matter what. I would recommend him to anyone! Willing to help and precious. Best Teacher EVER!

Dr. Corbin Rocks!!!! I had Dr. Corbin for both semesters of ORganic Chem., and I can't tell you how helpful he was. He was always willing to come in for afer-hours study groups. If he was in his office, his door was *always* opened. Organic Chem isn't easy, but he is willing to put in as much time as it takes for you to understand the material.

I loved Dr. Corbin. He actually cares whether or not his students understand the class. He will go out of his way to help you and make sure that you get it. He's funny, smart, very approachable and kinda goofy, but he made the subject fun-and I despise chemistry. He treats his students with respect.

Great guy, one of the nicest and most helpful profs in science. Chemistry isnt easy and hardly fun, but somehow this guy makes it easier to understand and interesting to learn. Lab reports suck...:-P
