Online classes are more difficult if you are not disciplined or you are a verbal learner. But you can get an A just by reading the material & doing the simple-ish exercizes. If you need help, you can get ahold of her, or better yet, make an appointment with her, as a librarian. I had a research paper to write, so I used that subject- 2 birds 1stone

I took LIR10 online, and it was a huge mistake. I'm not sure if Usina knew that her class was only 1 unit because she acted like it was 4 units. I wish I wouldn't have taken it. I did two other online classes (each one was 3 units) and they both required the same, or less work than LIR10. Pick someone, or something else

I did not like this teacher. Although she was very easy, she did not answer back to me at all and didn't grader half the class work until the course was over. I did not like that I did not know where my grade stood.

Easiest class that I've had at the SRJC. 6 weeks. 1 untimed quiz a week + 1 assignment with 4 questions. No book. No attendance. She is lenient and understanding.

EASY A!!!! Take LIR 10 online with Usina and you will get an A. Do the weekly assignments which are easy if you follow her lecture and you will receive full credit on most assignments. Stay on top of the homework since it is turned in weekly and if you forget then you won't get points.

I really liked this instructor. She was very helpful and enthusiastic about what she was teaching us, and she expalined things clearly. This class has a lot of stuff to cover, but she made it understandable.

Online class. Instructor is very organized and presents information as such. She really wants her students to learn and succeed and is very helpful. This was a very helpful class and Phyllis presents the material in a very good way. This is not a walk in park, you do have to work, but it is worth it. She keeps in touch and is very helpful. I would like to take another class with her again if I ever get the chance.

Usina was a great teacher. Online class. She was very positive and complimtary, made you want to succeed. Why cant other teachers see that this might be the key to success. Anyway this is a required class now so take it with Usina.
