I had Bitondi at Manchester CC for Composition. I wopuld do so much to go back in time and not take his course. While I'm not a terrible writer, I do struggle from time to time. All this professor does is berate his students, and he refuses to help. When asked a question his response is always to "look it up online". Terrible.

This is the worst teacher I ever had. Ever. No one in the class likes him, and I do try very hard. Im always doing homework for this class. Get ready to do a lot of reading, because thats all you do. He is very disorganized I feel like, and never responds to emails. So rude and treats you like nothing. Worst mistake I made in my life... DO NOT TAKE

I coasted through the English program with A's, but he actually challenged me and made me a better writer. Difficult class, but half of my class didn't do the reading and it was obvious. Tried to make class interesting with discussions, but they were a waste cause no one did the work. Sounds like he's gotten worse, but the class helped me a ton...

He is the worst teacher I have ever had in my life. He speaks to the class, in a muffled voice as if he is talking to himself. If anyone has a viewpoint that is different from his, he immediately shuts them down and tells them it is wrong. Horrible, horrible, horrible!RUN while you can!

An extremely intellectual individual. His expectations are very high though and grades very tough. I felt I worked hard in his class but was criticized constantly. He also relies too much on out of context views and ideas that reside out of the material.

Listen to me before you take this class and stay as far away from it as possible. This guy is anything but a decent teacher. All year we read from this 1000 page book on Nature Writing which made watching paint dry look fun. He lectured all class putting me to sleep then would come in expecting us to have papers done that no one knew about. He was

This guy is just another example of how Uconn screws students over by sticking us with unqualified grad students, while they let go of all the real teachers. This class bored me to tears. He generates no interest and simply has no ability to teach whatsoever. Don't take his class.

Terrible. I worked extremely hard, went for extra help and still couldn't get an A in his class. His exams ask questions that were never discussed in class and hard to interpret on your own. Do NOT take any of his classes

I am taking his class now and if you can by all means avoid this prof. His quizzes and exams are the most annoying part of the class to me, unless you like having 4 questions to answer in about 8 minutes and can write every possible detail from the story in that short period of time
