Prof Z is a very kind lady, but she is very tough. You will not get an A if you miss more than one class. There is no extra credit which I think is needed due to the fact your grade is based on 4 exams and a paper. You must study for her exams at least 4 hours a week. If not, you will not pass.

I completely loved this professor... She was such a great lady, always encouraging, loved her accent!! There were only 4 non-cumulative exams, and one paper about whatever scientific disease you wanted to discuss... She dropped the lowest exam grade, take her, her lectures were clear, easy grade breakdown, you'll have good time!

Dr. Z. is an amazing professor. Her lectures are interesting and she makes a long class pass pretty quickly. Coming to class is a must! Tests are very doable as long as you take good notes and put in some effort. A great way to fulfill a requirement with a passionate teacher.

Dr. Z is a very intelligent professor who is passionate about teaching. I have learned a lot in this class. The exams are not too difficult if you study, and there is one writing assignment and attendance factored into your grade. She gives a good grade as long as you put in some effort.

It was a breeze, very straightforward exams and extra credits.. she likes to go off- topic at times but that only helps with the long lecture.. can't complain haha. Well getting an a was tough since A 94, but as a STEM major you shouldn't have a problem.

Amazing professor! She understands that most people taking this class aren't bio majors and so she makes the course easy to understand. Her lectures are what you take notes on and what the exams will be about. 4 lecture exams and lowest grade dropped. 2 lab exams none dropped. Books aren't need so don't bother buying them. Definitely take dr z!!

Dr. Z is the nicest professor I have had! She will go out of her way to explain something 1000 times if you need her to. All she wants is for her students to succeed and she has told us that she never gave out a final grade lower then a B+ MUST TAKE HER CLASS! I love Dr.Z

Dr. Z is one of the best professors I have ever had. I'm not a biology major, but I took this course to fulfill a gen ed. She is absolutely brilliant; and wants her students to succeed and learn. I took her over the summer, and highly recommend taking her for any class!!

Great class. Great professor. Sympathizes with student life. Text book optional. Tests are from powerpt lectures. Very clear. Easy to understand. She includes personal stories but we enjoyed them. very helpful, will repeat any part of lecture. Study what she emphasizes is "really important".

Dr. Z is great if you want to understand Biology she is who you should take. All lecture test multiple choice, lab test are clear, she's drops the lowest grade. I took her class over the summer loved it. SHe does speak lot about her family and her accomplishment but what the heck. I learned and got an A. EASY A

AMAZING. I'm definitely getting an A in this class. She teaches in a way that engages you in the lecture. She'll answer every question +she really wants her students to do well. I love her class, I want to go back to Bio because of her. All Pwrpnt slides are on BB, do not need book at all. She teaches right off the slides. Study them and get an A.

Professor Ziaei is great! She really knows her stuff and she is very open to helping you out. She genuinely cares about all of her students. Very sweet and approachable. I don't know why she got so many negative reviews, she's really one of my favorite professors and everyone loves her.

Professor Ziaei is by far the best professor I have had. She is extremely helpful and a very fair grader. I got a lot out of her class which is more than I can say about some of the other classes I have taken. If you have the opportunity to take a class with her please do so. SHE IS AWESOME!
