This was probably the easiest class I've ever taken. She gets off topic a lot, get ready to hear a lot and I mean a lot of random details about her life. If you put in the slightest effort you'll be set. The main homework she has are quizzes online that follow the book, so GET THE BOOK. The other work is short essays that are extremely easy.

Dr Dupont is nice and always so energentic however she always feels the need to talk herself up during every class. She feels the need to talk about how when she was in college she didn't eat for 3 weeks straight. I feel this has no place in the educational setting and I shouldn't have to pay good money to listen about how great she is. An Easy A

She is an extremely nice professor. There were times when we were lectured to by power point and that was boring. She is extremely easy on grading, but gives a lot of assignments. You can tell that she cares about her students and I felt comfortable talking to her. Take her for an easy A in my opinion.

Every student should have her at least once while attending SRU and be lucky if you can get into one of her classes since she is so great. She really helps you to love learning and coming to her class and you have a good time when you are with her. She speaks and teaches from the heart and teaches her students to do the same. Definetly take her!

Dr. Dupont is an excellent teacher, if you have not taken your sophomore block, take it with her, she makes the class so fun because of her enthusiastic outlook on teaching, she reads you a fun story and sometimes even dresses up, its so fun, you feel like you are in elementary school all over again!

Dr. Dupont is a great teacher who makes you laugh. She is not afraid to go out there and have some fun in teaching instead of lecturing to powerpoints everyday! She is always there to talk and help you with your assignments. She tries to start and end each class by reading a book. Take her!

I did more pointless work for this class than I ever have.I learned about storytelling, but NOT reading.When I went into the field I still felt unprepared, and did not understand simple reading concepts.She appears to be approachable for help,but is anything but.Take this class with another teaher.

If you want to be read children's books, do busy work, yet not really learn anything this is the course for you! I think that she would be an EXCELLENT el ed teacher, but not a college prof. for adults. Likable, but not too willing to listen or spend time with you, disappointing class.

AWESOME class, had a ton of fun taking it as a summer course although it was work, work, work non-stop. Didn't like her quite as much for Children's Lit as I did for Creativity, but overall I'd definitly recommend either of her courses.

A good professor. Easy course. Is very set in her views and nothing will change that...ever. If you can put up with somebody stuck on herself, you won't mind the class. VERY easy class.
