i don't think this class was too hard, just a lot of reading and reading assignments. she's not too harsh of a grader and i learned a lot in this class. i liked the relaxed atmosphere in the class.

Comment:

Professor Munkres' class was very interesting and fun. She lectured some days and we had classes discussions some days. She really knows sociology. Take her class if you can. YOu won't regret it. Just make sure you study for her test and you'll be fine.

Take this course! Very clear and interesting teacher. Knows her stuff. Lots of reading, but it is mostly interesting. Tests are not difficult if you study the notes. Fair grader.

Absolutely wonderful! Amazing teacher, who is willing to talk to you about anything and help you however she can. Always helpful and glad to explain things in as many ways as she can until you understand Fun, down to earth, talkative, always happy and incredibly kind. TAKE ANY OF HER CLASSES!

Awesome professor! She really knows what it is like to be a student. The work load is a bit heavy but normal for a college course. Challenging, yet knows student limits. Very fair grader. Interesting course. Definitely recommend.

Dont take her if you have to work hard for good grades. Once told me "sorry, I didnt really have time to grade your paper so I kinda just put a grade on it". She said she would look at it once more but I never saw it again.

This is by far my favorite class so far at Furman. She is a great teacher, very willing to help, knows a lot about Soc, and makes the class really interesting. She's always willing to help in any way she can. If you're taking Soc, take it with Munkres.

Dr. Munkres is such a wonderful teacher! She is super nice and a lot of fun. Class material is always extremely interesting -- even the readings are interesting and not bad at all! Tests are easy if you pay attention in class and study a little bit.
