Professor Cima is a great person. She loves what she does, she is passionate about the curriculum. She cares about each one of her students . Take the time to get to know her before you judge her. Depending on the class there is much group work that allows for creativity and interpretation. She is understanding if you miss/late an assignment.

Cima is genuinely a nice person, she cares about other people, especially her students. Get to know her before you judge her. She is experienced and knowledgeable, but creates assignments that are inquiry based and student led. Her assignments leave room for interpretation, so make sure you clarify and Grey areas with her. Take her, you will learn!

lecture based and we rarely used the $30+ textbook that was required for the class. There was a presentation due every week on vague topics with no clear expectations or tangible feedback. Will count excused absences against you. Also had a mandatory event during a weekend that lasted from 9 am to 4 pm. Some of us work to pay for these classes.

the class is very tedious and boring. It is lecture style, like most psychology classes. She is knowledgeable and makes herself available during office hours to go over questions. However, the assignments are at times unclear and sudden, there is not visual deadlines in the syllabus. Study for the quizzes they are tough.

I have had Cima for 3 classes total over the last year. She is hard to get in contact with as she tends to not respond to emails. Her classes consist of entirely back-to-back group presentations but she does not provide tangible feedback. If you miss a class or have to leave early, she becomes spiteful and assigns you an extra misc. assignment.

She is awful, as a professor and a person. She is rude (rolled her eyes at students during presentations, ignores you if you answer wrong), lectures but yells at you for taking notes THEN QUIZES YOU ON WHAT SHE DIDN'T LET YOU TAKE NOTES ON! Assignments are unclear and she is rude if asked to explain, then never explains. If you have her, good luck!

The way she taught did not help. Very confusing. Try to avoid her course. She is a good person, but she shouldn't teach this course.

Cima is a really nice teacher but she tends to be confusing. It was also difficult because it's supposed to be a multicultural class but she only teaches you about iranian and native american culture. I just feel that I could have gotten a lot more out of this class, had it been offered by another teacher.

She truly cares about her students and wants them all to do well. So PAY ATTENTION! Be attentive to what she is saying, and interact in class!

Inconsistent with expectations. Be prepared to suck up. If you do, you will get a good grade. Actively participate in class. Overall very boring teacher, but the class itself was not that hard.

Cima is very passionate about teaching Multicultural Education, but she is not very flexible and and has strict classroom management rules. She was pretty unorganized and she went off topic frequently. She wasn't very good at explaining the group projects and some group projects were harder then others, not equally distributed. Avoid if you can.

If you enrolled in college to learn and have a passion for education, then I recommend that you STAY AWAY. I missed two classes for a friend's funeral and she had no sympathy. She made me complete a project over the summer to make up for the 2 missed classes. She also is difficult to understand and does not differentiate.

Cima is amazingly passionate about Multicultural Education. She is a wonderful teacher who just enjoys being with her students and teaching them everything she knows. She has tons and tons of personal experience and it shows when she is teaching. Her Ed Psych class was a little more cut and dry type material because its straight from the textbook l

Cima is a rocking professor who knows her stuff. Ed Psych is a little dry but that's because of the subject material, Multicultural Education is amazingly helpful and informative as well as a well designed class and fun. It's exactly what I expected grad school to be; a challenging medium yet a relatable and convivial.
