Dr. Eliason really makes art history interesting. I found myself noticing things in real life that were relevant to his class. Assignments are kind of enjoyable, and he's super chill and (occasionally) funny

Very nice guy always offering extra credit lectures to attend and promotes office hours. There was 4 projects (1 project was a test) I really liked this structure... I got to express my creativity. Textbook was required and he'd assign reading (I never read) and he'd cover the reading in class lecture following day.

Dr. Eliason is one of the best professors at St. Thomas. His feedback is very thorough and useful. He creates a classroom environment that feels safe and open for dialogue. Difficult subject matters are discussed in class and Dr. Eliason approaches them with curiosity, which prevents classroom hierarchy.

Craig is the man. He makes class interesting even for those who don't care about art. Four projects throughout the year and that's it. Small writing assignments in between. Would definitely recommend.

Dr. Eliason is a wonderful professor! He really took interest in the students and was easily accessible. Only one exam for the class, the rest were projects. The projects were decently hard, but he let you have a lot of creative reign, both artistically as well as in terms of writing. Some solo field trips to the MIA. Fun and educational class.

Class was really boring, but thats what I expected from an Art History class. Only one test and if you studied a bit you were totally fine. Other than that, it was projects instead of exams which were self explanatory. He was always very clear on what he expected and assignments were rare and easy. Don't have to read either!

Eliason is a super nice teacher. He is very nice and is always there to help--but you will have to ask for it. He has very specific rubrics before each project (there are 5) which help a lot. Easy to maintain a high B or low A.

Great professor, knows his field very well. 4 projects and 1 actual test, makes getting a good grade easy! Take this class to do some of the core requirement but also to raise your GPA. Dont buy the textbook, never used it even though he assigns HW (reading) you dont have to do it.

Show up for class, take notes and you'll be good. I'd recommend going to the writing center to get another view on your papers before you turn them in. You have 5 projects and 1 test. The test is not as hard as you think it'll be. Just study and you'll do well.

Easiest A. I took this for my general art history credit and the projects are super easy and fun with a write up reflection of your work that he grades really easily. Don't even buy the textbook you won't need to read out of it to do well in his class. If you want a chill class take this dude!

Professor Eliason is a great professor. If you pay attention in class and participate, and try not to get on his crap list you will be in good shape and get at least a B.

4 projects, 1 test. Lots of small group stuff, which is pretty boring and pointless. Books were a waste of money, didn't even use them (even though there was assigned reading, no need to do it). A few extra credit opportunities. Pretty easy overall.

nice guy, a little quirky though. pretty boring class but teaches you what you need to know. asks a lot of redundant questions. "projects" are papers that are super boring to write but if you follow the rubricpeer review you'll be fine. we move on before the previous project is due so that gets annoying and makes due dates easy to miss. decent

Pretty boring class, considering its art AND history. If you're not interested in art, don't let him know because it will suddenly be harder to get a good grade....
