I had him for a class and for labs. He is extremely clear, you just have to actually listen to him. He is really good at answering questions and is happy to help anyone who needs it.

This guy is a poor grader and teacher. He's not clear about anything and he speaks really quickly with a very pretentious ego driven rich guy fake accent thing, so it's hard to understand him. Also his material is way outdated and irrelevant.

He is passionate about what he teaches and is brilliant but tough class for an intro-to many topics and his tests are brutal- His lectures are interesting but he needs to realize this is an intro-we don't have to know it all right away.

Dr McMullin is a dedicated and passionate professor which really shows through in his lectures and conversations with him about course material. The course itself proved to be a little challenging given the abundance of material outside my expertise; however, this was no fault of the professor.

Comment:

There's a lot of material to cover in Natural Disasters, but it's fairly interesting. Also, David teaches it at a reasonable pace. His powerpoints are informative, and he explains the material very well. What's especially great about David is the fact that he's very specific in terms of what he expects for assignments, and what's on midterms.

Well, he is easily one the smartest people you will EVER meet, but i find he talks sooooooooooooooooo fast, cause he is no excited about what he is teaching, so you have to pay attention, don't skip his classes!
