I really enjoyed her class and it was an easy A. I didn't know a whole lot about music before her class, but I feel that I did actually learn. The textbook was rarely used, so you don't have to get it. The only reason I did not like her class was because I took it Tues/Thurs. It was just way too long. I always left feeling like I needed a nap.

Dr.Franks is a wonderful professor! She tries to crack small jokes every now and then. The whole course consists of only 3 exams and 2 Music Maps, the rest is lecturing. As long as you take notes and study them, it's pretty much an easy A. The class is not boring and the book is not needed.

DO NOT BUY THE TEXT BOOK! You will never need it. She is so easy, it is an easy A class. Make sure you go on review day because she basically hands you the test. If you study than you will do fine! Smile and show up to class, you might fall asleep but go anyways.

This has got to be the most boring teacher I have ever had. But I believe it was an easy A. She gives out plenty of extra credit so there is no reason you should fail. I didn't use the book at all and it's very expensive. All we did was take notes that were prewritten and listen to music. Super easy, just do good on tests and you will pass.

She is terrible. She's very unorganized and makes everything complicated. You don't use the textbook, don't buy it! She tries to make you sing, all the time. The class wouldn't be hard if she didn't make things up and spell all the terms wrong. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS.

She is SO unorganized, buying the book is pointless. She's enthusiastic about singing twinkle twinkle little star off key, but it has nothing to do with the class. Show up for the study day and test day and you're golden, except she takes role everyday. Good luck.

I dont like her at all. Her tests are hard, but the study guide helps, she can't hear so you have to yell at her. And her class is boring because all you do is take notes and you dont need the book so don't buy it. Good luck if you DO have her.

Do not buy the text book! She says you need it but you really dont. Very easy class to make an A in, tests are right off the study guides and she gives out alot of extra credit. I did very little and still made an A. Gives good clear notes and she doesn't mind answering questions as long as she isn't repeating herself!

This teacher was rude. if you have a question then Do Not Ask Her! you will be better off just guessing. she will laugh in your face and make you feel dumb in front of EVERYBODY and then keep asking you "What do you think?" and you will look at her like "HELLO! Good class, Dr. Frank is very thorough. Tests taken straight from study guide. Lots of extra credit available. Make sure you come to class and take notes, book only used for listening in class and some outside reading. Borrow book from someone or use previous edition. Come to learn and you won't have any problems :0)

I had Dr. Frank for Music Appreciation. She gives great notes and her tests are based mainly on her notes. You need to read the book outside of class. In class it's just used to following along while listening to certain pieces. She gives lots of chances to earn extra credit.

Dr. Frank is an alright instrustor she be laughin @ herself tho. Her test is ok but just study for it. Her class is boring tho OMG! but go every class metting because at the end she adds 5 extra credit points to ur final grade.You get out of class sometimes early too. Take her if u want but prepare to be bored.! U will pass tho.

Dr. Frank was easy, as were the test if you studied the study guide. It was exactly the test. The only thing I hated was sometimes the class got boring, mostly because at times the whole class period we just took notes. Also, we never got out early. I don't count five minutes as getting out early. But she knows her stuff and it's an easy class.

The class is music appreciation. IF you dont want to listen to music from Chant to Beethoven. DONT TAKE IT! However Frank is great! Shes quirky but I like it! Its very enjoyable IF you study. Bring a smile and willingness to learn NOT an attitude!!! Show up for review day! The Maps are somewhat easy!Remember SMILE!
